Aislin's Mystics - Closing

Hello friends,

As my "regular" customers may have noticed, I haven't been so good about keeping my vendors filled since Christmas, and I think it is time I closed Aislin's Mystics for a while.

I am a vendor in real life, as well, since 1996, in fact, and I've been spending a lot more time tending my real life enterprise (as it should be). Spending every other Saturday buying Ginseng just doesn't seem as exciting as working on new products for my store.

Add to the fact that there is fresher, more enthusiastic vending blood on the shard (see the rise of Ginsu and others), Aislin's Mystics will be closing this weekend. I will, of course, be keeping the plot and shop, and will probably reopen at some point in the future. I'll have house teleporters linking my shop to the Gilfane Market from the ground floor.

In the mean time, I will still be playing, and hope to put my game time and entrepreneurial energy into the Gilfane Market, which has been sadly neglected (by me ).

I'll be running two or three vendors there (instead of 10+), and working to promote and support the other crafters there.

Thank you all for *everything*, and I look forward to continuing to serve from Gilfane.

Ah well rl vendoring is far more rewarding most of the time.

Maybe if ya get Gilfane mall a going stronger again we can hook it up with Iantown and Moonglow too.

I will still keep your Moonglow rune in my...'where to shop on Siege' runebook on my porch.

Vendors or not or less of em, in game, just do not be a stranger cuz, too many of us would miss you.

sorry to hear this but I know its hard to keep up a vendor house over the months and I know there will be a limit to how long I will feel like vendoring myself. Seems we're getting in some new vendors, so good luck with your RL enterprises and please do come around to play when you can.

Of course best of luck with rl stuff first, as it should be. I can't help but feel bad when i hear of a crafter that is closing. There was a time when crafters were perhaps the most sought after player...we can only hope right?

I have to admit my own vendors have been somewhat neglected of late. There comes a time when crafting to stock vendors becomes a chore. When the fun goes it's time to do something else for a while.
I wish you lots of luck with your RL vendoring. May it be as profitable in $ as your virtual ones in gp.
