I hate negative and pessimistic talk about how UO sucks, Whining about the good old days (I was there) and the constant predictions of imminent demise. I skip/skim/ignore right over them.

That said, with membership in decline I think the free servers should be checked out, debated and one selected, perhaps by poll vote.
I will play UO until they pull the server, which is inevitable someday. Years from now I hope. But it'd be nice if all of us didn't scatter but rather moved enmasse to a free shard that wants and welcomes us 'when' that day comes.
