After about 4 years back to UO with a question

Hial,

I'm playing UO again after a break of 4 years. Much have changed! and I need some advice about my character.
I have a Mage/Fencer.
Stats;
Eval 105
Magery 100
Resist 100
Meditation 110
Necro 105
Spirit Speak 100
Fencing 100

Is this still a good template?
I also have a soulstone and some other skills to change with;
anatomy 100
tactics 100
parry 100

My main goal in uo will be pvm with some pvp. What template would do good. And also any advice on which spells to use and do I need to play ranged or close combat because I got fencing?

Last thingy, before I went away from UO my account was hacked so I dont have any good gear. What will cheap/easy to get gear for this char?

Lots of questions to get me started again, but I hope you guys can point me into a good direction. thanks alrdy

One of the best things you can do right now is to stone the magery and eval and concentrate on your necro and fencing. What you do is get into vamp form and find a slayer weapon. Any slayer will do really.

If your not SA upgraded do so asap then hunt in the abyss for rare imbueing resources. You wont need to kill the high level spawns or the renowned really. All the spawn there will drop a type or two of an imbueing resource. Once ya have these you can either use them on a suit/weapon or sell/trade them for the types you need/want for your particular suit/weapon.

You may want to train imbueing yourself as it is somewhat dificult to get players to imbue for you. It is quite ...particular to set it up the way you want it so doing it your self will yield the best results

Once you've got a good suit and weapon you can start working on gathering materials for your mage since the necro warrior would be superior in PvM I sugest that route but afterward the mage is still viable and a lot of fun in both pvp and pvm.

Many tnx mate, will work on that way. Looking to buy SA cheap. Still searching for a site which sells the upgrade code lower then 20 dollar.
But I will most likely buy it in the next few days for hat 20 dollar price

pretty sure there was a sale about 2 weeks ago was posted in UO hall. Keep an eye out there too.
