I haven't found the answer in no forum and also in the EA faq.
If i have a factioned char but with less then 200 skills total (obiouvsly i put some skills in solustones), can i use on it an advantage char token?
Or the char has to be not factioned and not guilded?
And if i can, i lose my rank?
Thanks

To answer your question yes the advanced character token would technically work.

These tokens are meant for brand new characters. Using on an existing character may reset stats, faction status, and/or anything else that may be attached to an established character. We do not recommend using them on an existing character.

Will using an advanced character token reset any power scrolls the character may have consumed?

From the way I understand it this will reset your character to it's starting stats along with boosting the skills. From that I can only guess that anything else related to your character may reset as well. As this was never intended for use for an established character.

Interesting info.

The results could potentially 'suck' if you use it on a built character then.

Thanks for the info.

EDIT* somebody needs to try using one of these tokens on a character with at least one powerscroll used. jus to see what it does.

The problem is that i want to change completly this char. So i don't mind losing old skills or stats. The most important thing is not to lose faction and rank :)
Is it possible that noone knows this?
It's not a polemic :)
I only say that OSI could explain better what happens when someone use that token. I know that it was created for new chars but now there are soulstones and every old char could have low skills and becomes new char. It says only that the char must have not more than 200 in total skills, not that it has to be just created!!!!
No words about guild ( i could have a new created char and have guilded it immediately) and faction.
I could have a new created char and have immediately used PS or Stats scroll.
No words also about this case.
So I'll buy one token and i'll try to use it. Then i'll write what's happened :)

Alternatively, lemme see if a different solution might work for you -

1) Create a new char
2) Use advanced char token on this char
3) Soulstone your skills over to your intended char (might take a couple of days if you only have 1 soulstone)

Tada :D

Requires a blank char slot, which I am guessing that you have (you mentioned you could create a new char). But no worries about guild membership, ps or faction rank etc etc.

But if you still want to go for it just to see what happens, I am curious to know too :)

So, a murderer with like 1,000 longs could revert back to blue, is that what im hearing?

I thinks that all we want to know what happens using an advanced token with a char that has cap stats and skills raised, that is guilded or factioned.
Me, I HAVE to know :D

It does exactly what it says... Resets your stats to whatever advertised by the template on the token you select. It also raises the skills to said amount.

It doesn't say anything else about other things being affected because nothing else is touched.

Yes, it's true.

Finally i know the answers :)
I've used it on my old char. Before using the token i dropped all skills in soulstones. The stats are resetted and the skills are raised so that the template i've chosen. But it's normal.
No change in stats and skills cap (i had 120 magery, dropped in a soulstone and after using the token i have raised again magery to 120). No change in faction and rank. No change in karma and fame. I'm blue and i don't have murders but i think that also who is red and have many longs remain in that status.
Then, the advanced char token can be used by every char. The only thing is droping all the skill to remain with less then 200.
That's all.
I hope it helps :)
