I'm not sure if this has been addressed but I cannot mark a rune inside or under the sign of a public Abyss House. It's the Gargoyle one on Origin in case someone can mark a rune there and I'm just broken lol. If it's a known issue, when can it be fixed? I was under the impression that we would be able to mark runes in the house...

I was unable to do this on a char that is friended. Says something to the effect of not being able to do that in this location.

It's a combination of two things...

You must be friended (or better), AND...
You must be within like 5 tiles of the house sign.

You can't be friended and mark it from just any old place inside, unfortunately. It's a very small radius you have to work with.

Actually, what he was told was that they would be fixed in the next few days... that was when the houses were handed over. The issue's already been fixed, and friends, co-owners, and owners can mark and recall there.

Non-friends aren't going to be able to recall there... but I know on Great Lakes, and a few other shards, the houses are public, and have many public amenities including teleport tiles -- which means if you mark to one of those houses, it's a few steps away.

Hmmm I was unable to mark in my own house. Going to try it again. However I have a house teleporter in my malas house to the abyss house and have been marking and leaving runes for everyone "EK Vendors your portal to the Abyss". So anyone looking for an easy way into the abyss on ATL please look for my runes. I know that some have been using it cause in three weeks I have had 300 visitors. We are still not finished with the house. So far we have a rezing ankh, soul forge, forge, commd deed box, vendor now with supplies (aids, orange petals etc.). We welcome any other suggestions that would make everyones uo play a little easier please let me know what we are missing. Also talking with Teh Complainer and hopefully we will have porters to both homes set up soon so that your jump to the other side of the abyss will be a quick one.
