I don't understand the utility of a rune beetle.
Maybe i don't be able to use it well :(
I have a very good beetle but if i don't heal it continuously it dies in a while :(
is it right?
I often read that many people go against monsters with rune beetles.
Is it my fault?
What monsters are more weak by the attacks of a rune beetle?
I know english not very well and i know that "more weak" is wrong. But i hope that you have understood what i have to know :)

The rune beetle makes a good support pet but not a very good tank. It's main role is in it's special attack of armor corrupt, plus it's high poision ability. Yes, the rune needs alot of attention in the form of healing from it's master when in combat. Using a good bake kitsune to tank for your beetle might be what you need to do. Also you realy need to match up the right pet for the right foe.

Does your beetle have good resists/HP?

I use my beetle to tank Baracoon along with my nightmare. I can keep it healed just fine with Vet.

As stated, they are great for their high poison skill + armor corrupt which allows all other pets/persons to do more damage to said creature. They also have a bleed attack which adds in a few more ticks of damage.

They are a pet that requires love,

Unlike the Greater Dragons you cant leave them alone to fight, they need some TLC.

Treat them right and they will destroy anything, dont and they will destroy you (theyll die and whatever you were fighting will kill you)

Your Rune Beetle can tank a few things that no other pet can tank.

Rune Beetle with 95 Poison Resist, 65 Phys resist can tank a Dreadhorn or Putrifier.

Anything with dominant poison damage a Rune can tank without any help. Anything with Poison damage and another damage a rune can tank with help.

Just have to use the right pet against the right creature.

I dont use my Rune as much as i should - i am partial to my greater dragon.

Rich, your not insinuating your Rune likes it up the pooper from his master, are you?
