What's better for head slot:

Spirit Of The Totem, Hunter's Headdress or Mace and Shield Reading Glasses for PVM? Maybe anything else?

Ring Of The Vile - is it good for this kind of archer?

I use Mace and Shield and the Ring of Vile on my archer... but it depends on what else you have on the rest of your suit. I like the HCI the Ring gives you in case I ever run out of mana using Lightning Strike. I also like the Fold Steel Reading Glasses, which I use on my Sampire. You should be able to build a decent suit using any of those you mention.

Mace and Shields are good, but I prefer Spirit of the Totem for the strength and hci. Ring of the vile is a good choice, but imbuing can also give you some good ring options. Over ring of the vile, I might choose a ring with 8 dex, 15 hci, di, and something else (e.g., lmc, fcr, etc.).

Mace & Shield hands down. It frees up HLD so you don't have to have it on your wep, or increases the chance it will go off in case it's already on it. Plus the stat buffs and the resists are hard to beat.

I'm a mace and shield kind of guy myself. The 25 physical resist, stats increases and HLD can not be beaten by anything else.

But that also depends a lot on the rest of your suit and your bows. If you already have 50% HLD on a weapon, more on your glasses won't help. If your strength is low, then the extra strength from the totem will do nicely for you. If your template is pretty tight, then the head dress will free up extra skill points.

As far as the ring of the vile goes, that's one of the rings I use a lot when I don't expect to be chugging a lot of potions.

Thanks for your comments guys. My current stats without +mod from equip are:

str: 60
dex: 125
int:40

and with modifiers i have about 70 str, 140 dex and 50 int.

You need more dex.

Also, look for stamina increasing items. Try to get your stamina up to at least 145, 150 or so.
