This has happened with fish I have dropped on the deck of the new ships while they are moving. I seem to miss the hold and the dang fish continues moving along the deck, through the wheelhouse, and out the stern. I looked and didn't see any holes in the decking or walls. Perhaps they are ghost fish?

Those like myself that like to sail while on the gangplank will find yourself recalling to the ship. Same plank surfing with EC will have the Tillerman making off with your boat when taking a bath.
