A Thought on the Gargoyle Race.

So after making a gargoyle and reading other posts on how they're the weakest race, I ran across a post explaining that "kilts" replace the Crimson Cincture on Gargoyles. Taking that into account it seems like gargoyles get an extra armor slot over humans and elves. I say this because a Gargoyle can wear a kilt and leggings at the same time. Granted the earrings and bracelet that replace the headgear aren't that packed with resists, I figure combining those two maybe equals 1 and 1/2 of what two pieces of human or elf armor would afford. Have you seen some of this gargoyle armor and artifacts? Looks like the resists on a lot of what I see are pretty awesome. I got this "Summoner's Kilt" that has 5 mods and 60 resists, seems like an extra mod or two over what a human or elf artifact would have. I wonder how the other stuff stacks up over all. So I wouldn't be suprised if it turns out that gargoyles do hold their own weight against the other races, just that maybe peeps are still too used to the other races templates and item usage....

It seems like getting an all 70s suit isnt too difficult for a human or elf these days, and they have plenty of mods already.

Gargs can't wear:

1) Footwear (snake skin boots/champ drops)
2) Crimson
3) Quiver (5 DCI)
4) Headgear
5) Gloves

They do have:
1) Earrings
2) Necklace
3) Ring
4) Bracelet
5) Chest
6) Arms
7) Kilt
8) Leggings
9) Robe

Human/Elf can wear:

1) Headgear
2) Earrings
3) Necklace
4) Rings
5) Bracelet
6) Chest
7) Arms
8) Legs
9) Glove
10) Footwear
11) Quivers
12) Crimson
13) Robe

IMHO the throwing skill is so buggered as to be mostly worthless. The Mystic skill requires templates that require as many twists and turns as a pretzel. And the Imbuing skill is so click intensive as to require consulting fees for carpel tunnel. The loyalty ratings for Imbuing crafter gargoyles are so far out of reach as to make the use of the Queens' soul forge impossible to use.

Hmm... seems alot of negatives for the new race.
