A question about imported items from old cities?

When TC was merged with TC3 it was possible to tell the imported items from items purchased from EA in TC3. One way that I knew of was the repair costs for items that came from TC were higher than genuine TC3 items.
My question is, is there a way to tell imported items in EALand from genuine EALand items, such as the repair costs?

imported goods cost considerably more to repair in ealand. Ive seen repair costs of around 4000 for the crafted pc's for instance, you can buy new ones for 1600

If you count the imported ones as *new*, then yes....but it costs 2k just to craft them, so if they are crafted in the city that they are being sold at, somebody who sold them at that price would be operating at a 400 simolean loss per pop.

If you are paying 1600,... you are paying way too much for an imported one. I personally sell em at 800.
