If you still have unused Spring Cleaning points when the the entire Spring Cleaning system is turned off (both turn-ins and claiming of rewards) what happens to your points? Do you get something for them? Do they stick around on the servers until the next Spring Cleaning someday? Do you just get screwed out of them entirely?
When Clean Up Britannia ended, if you had any unused points, it was converted to gold in a 1:1 ratio and put into your bank box; I.e. if you had 1000pts left, 1000gp would be dropped into you bank box. Something like this might make sense now, as well, especially considering the fact that gold is not exactly worth what it used to be, so having lots of unused points that get turned into gold is not going to suddenly make you rich beyond compare.
