Give runic kits a chance to enhance without fail. IE:

Spined: 10%
Horned: 20%
Barbed: 30%

But even on failures, it is not catastrophic. I think this may revitalize runics some. Input?

Good idea. But would cut into their sales of the Forge Tool, so highly doubtful they would give it a shot.

Before Imbuing I asked for a way of 'guiding' runic properties by using ingredients or runes. The idea being that when creating a PvP weap, you could eliminate the chance of getting luck. Likewise when crafting a sword for a warrior, it always seemed a bit odd to end up with a SC mage weapon.

I mean, what self respecting crafter would make a sword for a Warrior and end up a useless magic wielders sword?

So I'd like to see some combination of imbuing and runics, not as exact as imbuing, but with the intensities of the runic.

At the very least, being able to de-select a property per 20 skill in imbuing would be nice. At least I could perma disable luck and UBWS when I'm crafting my Sammys weapons then.

There are just too many properties when crafting with runics, and sadly, almost always the imbued weapons end up better. Of course, there are the very very rare few that stand out as awesome weapons, and these are only possible with the high end runics, but the odds really, really suck. Pretty much everything I crafted using the dozens of val runics over the years has been unravelled, and I now almost exclusively use imbued stuff. Sad.
