It is incorrect. You can only add to a lock down. So it is pointless to even carry the book around. It would of been bad if thy allowed you to add to the book in your pack but it is not the case.

Could be that the person carrying the book doesn't read Stratics and therefore didn't know you couldn't add scrolls if it wasn't locked down in a house.

Well, if it also only takes up one slot and since it's blessed and 1 Stone, it's not hurting anything by carrying it either.

You still can't use it.

It's been awhile since I have played so my facts may be off a bit, however, wouldn't on of those books be classified as a container? And thus, (since publish 16) cannot be stolen anyway?...la

I was wrong when I first posted. I had didn't know how they worked and assumed that he was putting SoT's inside the book at the spawn so they couldn't be stolen. I did manage to get not one but two 120's during that spawn off them tho
