I just wanted to say thank you to all of the people in this community that helped me plan my char over the last month.
Template suggestions, equipment advice, and quest hints, and more....

I found answers to all this during the last month of research on stratics, and in these forums. Today, I am happy to announce it all paid off!

I got my new pc, 9th anni., and my account activated last friday. Since then I have played about 6 hrs. per day, and as of 11:39 pm EST U.S. I have gm'd my character in his 4 main skills.

Magery- 100.0, Eval. Intel.- 105.2, Meditation- 115.0, and Focus- 115.0!
I also have resist spells at 93.4, and Inscription at 53.7 (hard as heck to raise).

I worked hard to accomplish this, and maybe I sound like I'm bragging, but all I wanted to do was show this community how much help they really are. How great it is to have a community like this to rely on, and how grateful I am to all of you.

My char. is The Fair Mithannial Marr, on LS. I am a guildmember of the Empire of Darkness (recruits guild). If anyone is interested in seeing me in game. I own a 13x18 elven tower style home one screen south of luna, 4 houses east of the road, feel free to stop by, the furnishing is pretty bare, but I'll fix that in time.

So, again... THANK YOU ALL!!!!! I really mean it from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU!!!! You have made this game easier, and more fun than I ever thought it would be.

Nice going ... and like Warsong sez ... LS is a good shard. I've played there a bit myself. Glad we could be of service on your choices and stuff.

Inscription. As you may have found LRC does not count in this skill so you need scads of reagents. If green thorns are easily found, I would suggest doing what I did ... get a pile of them - a BIG pile!

Go around areas where you can plant a thorn in a pathway or small patch of dirt (not plowed fields!!). Done right, random spawn of reagents will occur - pick them up! Planting in a plowed field will produce a Vorpal Bunny and that bugger is fast!

Ennyhoo, my Paladin would get bulk reg deeds when he could, but my Scribe/Mage did the above. I could normally keep over 20K of each reg in stock. Now, get as many blank scrolls as you can find, crank out recalls and gates. Sell them off on a rented vendor at reasonable prices - cash flow for more scrolls.
