Hello All,
Today I got my first batch of the new colored Bonsai's.
I started off with the Uncommon Pine.
To my surprise, I didn't actually realize it till now, they give thier own seeds ~happy dance~.
Now I wanted to move on to growing the next type and looked at the charts.
Two of the Bonsai's match two other Bonsai's in shape, so there is actually no need to xpolly two of those (except the plain versions) because the plants do not say common or exceptional in thier naming when they are bloomed, so doing it for the names has no purpose.
As my plants just bloomed today I cannot see yet if the seeds one can pluck of these do have the proper naming.
Can anyone tell me if they do?
If they do I wonder if there are gardeners that actually did go ahead and xpolly to all types to complete thier collection with all the named seeds eventhough in the end there is no difference in the looks.
Another thing I could not find an answer to yet is:
Have people tried to xpolly the Bonsai's among eachother and the results of this.
To provoke mutant bonsais do I have to xpolly i.e. hops with rushes, or can I xpolly uncommon with uncommon?
