A damn good reason to get my ban overturned.

ok i start off a new game, lotro, i battle my way thru the newbie quests after suffering damage from a few pigs, lotro seems obsessed with pigs in the newbie area. and make it to the open lands. a friend who i helped in her early days in uo met me and i think to myself. ok im safe now with friends. she takes me to a kin house and i spot a barrel that allowed me to perform an action with. turns out its brandy and i drink a glass. friend tells me that if u drink lots the screen goes blurry but i drink just the one. i go to the fireplace and my char collapses! i wake up face down in a bog being attacked by a toad. toad was slain (coz im tough) and friend duly arrives. we start to walk home and she tells me to right click a stable hobbit so i do and i see an ok button so i hit it.....next minute im on the back of some rabid horse belting in the direction ive come from!
now is it fair to codemasters to have ea dump me on them?
my friend was in tears of laughter! wait till i get her in uo!

no i havent had enuff time to really see yet but one of the reasons i stayed with uo was it wasnt about levelling up etc etc
uo is pretty unique really but just checking others out and uo community is great but lots of uo players dont realise that.
so far i find the movement way ie arrow keys not great. 3d graphics are ok but not as much to look at as uo 2d but i will be fair and give it a crack in the absense of any other news but feel that codemasters may soon write a letter to ea saying 'take her back shes embarassing'!

So far I see nothing about your post that speaks anything. First, an inconsistancy. UO has levelling, in fact you have to level up 7 different things, or more depending on how you want to play. It's a false claim to pretend that UO has no levelling.

Next, your belief that the devs are going to uverturn your ban just because you played LotRO? Umm, okay. That's a new one in this book.

Good for you Lucy for being open minded and trying another game. Lots of UOers are still deathly afraid of 3D and think that leveling is still just major grinding like it was many years ago in EQ1.

LotRO is a great fun game. I myself have a lifetime account. Have you tried the Bard class? It's tons of fun. My fav class. You can play songs as you attack the monsters strumming your lute. Bard is also able to play all instruments instead of just one.
