[Price Check] A Crystal Ball

I got this ball on a 2nd account and have never seen anything like this before on any vendor and I'm a real shopaholic.

It says,
"Crystal Ball"
"Looking into the crystal ball,Thou doth see swirling
mists in which words form ' Ask and be answered'

"Seller's discription"

I thought it odd with the sellers description right under it.


Any help would be appreicated.

its a double description one "ask and be answered" - not uber rare, but not that common, either.
my brain is a little fuzzy due to illness, so will let someone else post a price. i have 3 i think, heh.
you double click it and it'll give you an '8 ball' kind of answer...yes, no, not a good idea, ect ect

JUST PUT IT ON A VENDOR AND TAKE IT BACK OUT, AND ITS KEEPS THE SELLERS DESCRIPTION..no idea why but alas it does...

Hmmmm. . . Mine has been locked down, in my house, for years and still has the double message. Do I need to unlock and relock it or something?

No need to fix it, these are worth at least twice as much WITH the bugged double message.

Placing them in a vendor removes the double message, unless inside of its own bag. The value goes down to 25k though.

Been so long I can't remember what exactly were the steps but it can be done.

If we are speaking of plain 'crystal ball' versus the 8-ball type with the dual "looking into..." there is quite a price difference. Just telling it how it is.

i recently took off my ask and be answered ball from my vendor, and put it in my pack. it lost it's double tag.
I put the ball BACK ON the vendor, and typed in a new description, and the double tag CAME BACK.
I'm not sure if it remains on lock down, cause i dont have a house on that shard. But, iirc, it happened on my home shard, where the double tag shows on lock down. Someone else will need to re-test this.
