Hello all, I just thought I would write up my experiences with the new Virtue;
.) The items appear to be in any area which isn't player housing, a dungeon or guard zone as mentioned on UOHerald. So far I have found them on Fire Island up against a mountain, just outside the guard zone in Skara Brae, in the woods by the entrance to Sanctuary, in the woods between Britain and the Swamp to the North East, and immediately behind the Academy of Arts on Moonglow Isle.
.) They are random items, with modifications; they may thus be a noticeable colour due to damage/resist mods. You can however also see them with CTRL-SHIFT. If you are in the Enhanced Client, swap to "Items Only" to narrow down what you are looking for.
.) Identifying with 100 Forensics (GM) it is possible to muff the identification; I'm not sure if you can fail entirely, but once out of 5 attempts I got "You find seeds from a familiar plant stuck to this item which suggests this item is from Britain". You can use the forensics skill again though to identify the NPC.
.) The NPC will always be "Singe Name from X". So far the cities I got where Yew, Jhelom (twice), Britain and Minoc
.) The NPC when located is a mobile Yellow Name called "Y The Peasant". The Jhelom NPC were on the Southern island not the mainland, although I have seen some there too. It's thus possible they could also have appeared by the Bull Pens, as there's an NPC fisher hut to the south of there.
.) 4 hand ins to the NPC itself (which took 2 hours to find the items) gains you... 1 bubble at L1 Honesty. Hnnnghhh
.) Sosaria is apparently held together by Spider Silk. It's everywhere!
