I picked up a pair of the new bracers in the bane/ophid battles the other day, so I slapped them on my mage.

I knew they had less LRC than the arms I took off, but I tested some casting and I was still okay.

Yesterday I thought I should check. I did both a physical count and double checked on the enhanced client (I normally use the classic client). He's at 96 LRC. But needs no reagents.

I'm wondering what's up? I do have a 15 LRC Spellbook in my backpack, but I'm not holding it. Or does something else effect the LRC count?

are you asking why you aren't having spell failures with only 96 LRC?

it's basically random number generator driven... you have 96 out of 100 chances to cast a spell.

eventually you'll get the more reagents required message.

While I think bone bracers look cool, the properties on those aren't really anything that great to dump whatever you had that gave you 100 lrc, imo.

You will eventually fail and It will be when you need it to succeed the most, one thing i do is put on a piece of arcane clothing to cover those moments when i would normally fail! then you just check the item once in a while and recharge when it gets low
