931 days... for the last two months

My avatar (I don't care if they call it a "barf being" as long as the game wasn't cancelled) hasn't gone up in entitlement days or skill locks in the last month or two. Yes, I sent a bug report a while ago.

Has this happened to anyone else (I think it has), and does anyone think this may affect amnesty issues?

I don't think anyone's entitlement days have gone up in a very long time. I know mine hasn't. I am sure that during Amnesty it will all be corrected and everyone will get their full entitlement. We just have to be patient

There are tons of threads on this in the various forums... They know this but if you must email them -- again they know and said they are keeping track.

It's only been broken since March 27th. I linked just a couple days ago to the original post that was written up about it, and Greg said in the Town Hall when asked about it that it would should be fixed in time for amnesty. But even *if* it isn't it will only mean 1 skill lock difference at a maximum since there's only 33 days between March 27th and April 30th.

I really do think that mine has been frozen for longer than two weeks, but as long as they know what it should be, it's fine by me.


If someone wants to lock this up, go ahead.

1 skill lock or in my case with one of my accts. If thay stay froze it means the differance in 3 trees. That acct is froze at 721 entitlement days but in all actuality it should be 735. That acct had no free trial and Avatars never been recreated. But im sure it will be fixed so im not really worried.

I hadn't thought about the anniversary objects, but Greg did say that it is supposed to be fixed. My account is stuck at 668, so even by amnesty would only be at 701 (adding 33 days which is from the day it broke (3-27) to April 30th) so it won't be getting mystics with amnesty either way, but should 30 days after that.

There was also a couple weeks in there too though that free accounts were accumulating entitlement days when they shouldn't have been, so if anybody had days added during that time I bet those days will be rolled back. I know one of my free accounts got 25 entitlement days added to it before the days froze, so I really at first thought it was just a way of compensating for that until Greg said that it was something that would be fixed. If anybody else got days added during that time that shouldn't have, when it is fixed you might not find as many days added as the total amount that are missing and that would be why.

i think its been going on longer then a few weeks my entitlement days havnt gone up in months neither have my locks

It hasn't gone on many more days than when it was originally reported because I remember when the amnesty date was announced I calculated how many locks I'd get based on the number of entitlement days i had plus how many days were left, and when I do that now that lock number is only off by 1 lock plus a few days, so not quite 2 locks.....if it had been frozen longer than that I'd be off by 2 locks, almost 3 from that original number.

Yep, that adds up,

March 27th to March 31st = +4 days
April 1 to April 15 = +14 days, maybe 15

So see, there's just no way that the dates can be anymore off than that. Before I went and found the original post on it I too thought it had been jammed longer than that, but then I went and found that post, and then went back to the numbers that I'd calculated when amnesty was first announced and they're just not off by that much. I think it just seems like longer to us because we're chomping at the bit waiting for it to happen, like anything else exciting....those of us that have kids know, what do the kids do from the backseat on the way to anywhere fun......

I don't think this is any different, and nobody blames anybody for being excited, but if we're gonna crucify the devs, do it with factual information, not stuff that psychologically seems worse than it is, ya know?

Why are we debateing how long it has gone on? People don't care how long it's been and whether it means the difference between 1 lock and 10 locks doesn't diminish that fact. Hopefully they will get it fixed by amnesty but don't count on it.
