That's it dam I guess not alot of hunting for them lately.
Well ... that there are several for them for sale atm doesnt mean that hey have been dropped lately. Once you have trained taming/lore up, you can get better headgear. With its actual prices it is silly for most players to hold on an item, that they are probably not going to use (again).

my understanding is that the taming mask is the most rare drop. I use the mage mask on my tamer so i can work in enough skill points to add spellweaving. i just find it surprising that there are that many for sale all of a sudden across all shards.

So you're insinuating that someone may be cheating based on information you obtained from an illegal website?
You could always check out the vendors and see if they are named or dressed similiar or if the masks have the same durability (unless they are all new). I think there was a problem in the past that someone had posted about multiple vendors accross shards selling inquis with the same durabilty. Otherwise the simplist explaination is that with imbuing they are making jewerly with taming/lore and other mods and no longer need the mask and are dumping theirs before the price falls.

your mr. super merchant. you mean to tell me that you don't know where the active vendors reside on the major shards inside the luna walls?
as to insinuation. i'm just putting it out there. I look for these masks often to resell if priced accordingly. i can honestly say i had never seen this many taming ones available. Read into it what you want.

Duarability shouldnt be a criterion ... with self repair it usually shouldnt be far away from max.
I am not shure, if the taming-mask is the most rare one. I even doubt that there is one of them more rare as the others (when it comes to dropping them). Only that is was the most aftersought mask course there is an incredible number of lazy tamers out on the servers.
