I do not know the specifics of what happened, not do I want to, but I want to say this. You have to plan for your event to be disrupted and have a "Plan B". Player-Run events (aka tea parties) have *always* been disrupted on Siege. Even if you have the best plans in place to keep the disruptions minimal, assume *someone* will still try to disrupt (an succeed!). Some may do it to simply grief, others want the challenge of seeing how many kills that can get in one shot, others just want to be "evil". I can't count the number of times I've been to an event that was disrupted.

Please don't let it discourage you. Take it as a lesson learned and make changes for next time.

But hey, all it took was for him to flag you all, keep you flagged, and wait for you all to make the dreadful mistake of thinking you could stay out the house long enough to well, die. . .

Well I didnt provoke any ill will. In fact I asked if it was ok if I looked. I sat on the small sandstone in Moonglow last night and only saw an "Elwyn" come by. So I logged out under a tree. Logged in this morning, hit my Tracking macro which is already a whopping 74 skill and Low and Behold, Hoffs on the steps but no one else. The house fell, Hoffs (im assuming) grabbed an ethy beetle and stones and proceeded to stealth around checking boxes. I came out of hiding and said "mind if I look", fully expecting to see at least 1 "is Attacking" message. But nope, then I stumbled over a hidden body that I failed to track. Ran my ass to the other IDOC, I get there, Tracking shows no one. I wait a few minutes, Hoffs shows up again. House falls, I come out of hiding and say hi again, Hoffs says Hi, Blind Otto shows up and says Hi, Scopulus shows up and ignores me (but that's ok, I gotta a shard welcome on the boards earlier), all very cordial folk...in that setting at least..

The last time V and 420 fought I was not there but apparently your servant/henchman/adoring fan Black rain apparently got it handed to him.

Now I know Nadal embellishes stories so I didn't quite believe it until your "cohort" starting complaining to me on icq, I assume he learned this from you.

The fact that you take the time to ICQ about "so and so" house hiding, or "so and so" ganking or "so and so" is a bad mage is kinda over obsessive.

If you want to join V Sakie, all you have to do is ask, though I will tell you that in order to join every current member will have to agree. Though that shouldn't be a problem since you are "the best pvper on Siege hands down"
I couldn't think of any reason why everyone is V wouldn't want you in so the voting should be quick.

In the grand scheme of IDOC 's we don't usually bother anyone else who shows up as they've just as much right to be there as we do. Only time things get on the offense is when a person who has a history of attacking us or causing trouble shows up. Otherwise, we just try to defend ourselves if attacked as our guild policy states. The main objective is just to get stuff and get out.

Do you punch someone for killing you halo? How about yelling at them? or taking the time to post on message boards or instant message programs about how much you hate them, or how bad they suck?

I believe since some people spend soo much time in game and soo much time on the boards, they tend to blend the line of the video game and personal aspects. Sure ICQ is a good way to arrange trades but its also a messaging program for REAL LIFE. So when I tell you I don't want to talk about UO because i'm talking to my wife whose in another state and you start calling me a "pvp wannabe" and I block you its because UO is not my life.

If you want to insult me in game go right ahead, I can log off if I want.

Message boards ABOUT the game are not appropriate avenues to attack someone in game, neither are ICQs.
