40% SSI?

I heard you can reforge 40% SSI on a heavy crossbow. If so what steps do I need to take using which runic?

So far the best I've gotten is 30% using Animate/Haste using an Oak Runic.

Ok, used 100 charges of an ash runic with no powerful reforging or anything selected. Got 1 bow with 40% SSI and of course it had a useless mod on it (luck)

That's pretty horrible odds. Any better way to get 40% SSI hopefully without other useless mods?

Unless you want to get 50% ssi with enhancing, you could imbue 30% ssi and then enhance with ash for that extra 10% ssi.

Ash runic have some points,one property(180),2 property(220),3 property(260),4 property(300).
And 40 SSI have 140.
If you add powerful reforging,points have +20,so item get other property.
All these points are not used,so you can get only 40% SSI,but probability is quite low.
I hope you get 40 SSI and one good property.

By the way,I made 35 SSI axe for shadow runic.
I fell I get 35 SSI axe( shadow runic's max) .I fell about 2% or less.
And about half have bad mode,remain good mode,and only 35 SSI is very few.

This is what I do but you really need to use a forged metal tool due to the risk of losing the bow with enhancement at the end.

can u get 40ssi with an oak runic thats not brittle?

sem's chart indicates you can.

Oak runic can 40 ssi,but it have brittle or can not repair.
So oak runic can't make 40ssi with not negative property.

Probably depends on your shard. Only PvPers are going to be interested in it and most people are running throwers not archers these days.
