2014 Wish List for Clean Up Britannia additions (Turn-in items and rewards)
Useful items for reward:
Some tool, which can resize each house item to 1 field footprint and height, would be welcome. Give it simply an image and the usability of the item embedded.
We got all these huge house add-on and reward items, where usability is seriously affected by size, i.e. Soulforge, Garden Shed, Lighthouse.
Or a container, which you can put into the bank and which nullifies the need of being locked down for all those items, which otherwise only can be used in a house (i.e. the books for scrolls and such).
A flower box, which allows to put in flowers from gardening or whispering roses one by one for display without occupying all the space in your house for this purpose.
The so often requested jewelry box.
And for turn in (I may not be fully on current track) - does this silverish looking jewelry give points meanwhile? What about weapons with charges (of clumsiness and such)? Some weapons like staffs in opposite direction did also fail to give points.

I really would love to see a Mailbox and A House Pet sounds nice.
A White book for Power Scrolls may make it harder for newbies to find scrolls for sale as it make it easier to store them. But I really would love to have a book like that.
A bag of 5 dirt tile that works like the raised garden beds but not raised. It would be great for farm deco in a house but I know, maybe it should be on the UO Store list

A new reward that I think would be a welcome addition to cover the difficulty of getting proper slayer books:
100K points - 5 use scribe pen that guarantees that the normal magery/myst/necro spellbook you're making will roll a slayer mod.
Getting a slayer spellbook you want is a major quest right now. It involves many, many hours, countless blank scrolls, patience and luck.
With that, I'd at least know I'd be rolling a random slayer mod so I'd only depend on the RNG once, instead of depending on it rolling magical properties for the book, then rolling slayer among those properties and then rolling the slayer I want.
Or it could be a 1 use special pen for the same price that would add a random slayer mod to a normal spellbook with up to two properties.

i would embrace that idea, however id put the point value at around 5 - 10 million. keep in mind 250k points is only worth around 3.5 mil right now, thanks to scriptors and the ophidian journal bug.
On second thought, i take it back. i think right now weapons are powerful enough. mana phasing orbs are an excellent option if the gold for a con trinket is an issue, or the faction tally which has the same stats as the trinket minus the slayer.
Personally, I don't think the goal is to make the item rare or unobtainable. 500K points should be sufficient to keep it on par with other turn-in options. That is also achievable by the average player in a reasonable amount of time.

I would actually like to see some extremely expensive turn in rewards--- They need to be deco or something you wear without stats of course so they will not break the game. But some turn in deco items in the 1 million, 5 million or even 10 million points would be neat to try and obtain.
I've been thinking and I think Spellbooks ought to be on a list of imbuable items..... one ought to be able to imbue them. Sick and tired of spending massive amounts of time and effort gathering ML ingredients to make a scrappers with decent mods using every bonus I can get only to get 9 out of 10 normal scrappers.... and one lame one with low bonus as a reward. Would be nice if we could imbue some decent ones... Long as it's taking up a slot in my hand anyway it can be like jewelery when you imbue it and get the 255 and eventually be destroyed.
Also... The Shadow Cloak/Ranger's Cloak from In the Shadow of Virtue event along with the Mempo of Fortune should be added to the list of obtainables from Blackthorns dungeon and should have alternate looks. The Mempo I would LOVE it if I could get it as the ankh pendant graphic or a necklace or something.... Shadow and Rangers cloaks as quivers, or other such items would be nice.
As for turn in's All the recent stuff we've gotten easter baskets, bunnies, geese their eggs, dogs, kitties, etc... as well as the sleeping hamsters, ought to be turn-inable for rewards..... as well I'd like to see the crystal decor items, shadow decor items, all items from heritage tokens, etc be able to be turned in for points as well....
I'd like to see new items like new dyes, some of the plants we can't get normally (though I'd rather these were seeds I can plant and eventually get in all the colors as we could grow them and get seeds pollinate etc) I'd like to see new paintings, tapestries... I'd like doors that I could use to put in my castle or keep to keep folk out of some of my towers etc... placeable doors, I'd like to have water, garden dirt, and the leafy grass tiles .... but more like a reward item like the snow and grass...
New clothing styles but I'd rather they were craftable.
Special horn dye for gargoyles would be cool, new colors of hair dyes for humans and elves... Pixie wings for humans and elves that don't let you fly but flutter would be fun...
I'd like a garden box where I could put plants that would lower the number of lockdowns..... work like the davies locker for maps only allow sorting and storage of plants... 500 per box and each box only count as 1 lockdown. Jewelery box that allows 500 items in sortable but counts as only 1 lockdown...
An Anniversary reward book that holds Anniversary tickets and sorts them by year..... count as 1 lockdown holds 300.

As for the one point I agree anything worth less than 500 to me is just not worth lugging to the trash bin. When most everything I want is 250k in points it seems worthless to drop 1 to <500 point items... would take so many trips back and forth to the trash it's not even funny.... and if I just throw them at home that's waiting forever for the stupid bin to reset and let me throw things away again.
Here's a suggestion @Kyronix @Mesanna Can I have a way to click my trash can at home and pick "Flush"..... to empty my trash and collect the points rather than having to wait the 5 min for it to empty please!?!? I would rather recall to some city bin to toss them..... and if I do that could you please make sure every city has them and perhaps it would be nice if the City I toss my crap in could somehow get points or something for the trash I throw there if I'm loyal there? And maybe the Governor there could receive deco items to decorate the city with? Or points to use to be able to get a grant for some decorative project? Or perhaps the Governors could get points for something else useful. Just an idea.
But I'd really like to flush my trash bin at home and not have to wait forever to use it again.

venus flytrap is trashcan that gives you points. very useful if your into collection points and have alot of stuff at the house.
Yes but a trash can needs to wait 5 min to empty..... I want one that empties when you want it to. I want to be able to "flush" my trash can.
Hmm, there use to be a way to make them empty if they hit 125 items, if you secure your trash-can doesn't it auto-delete when it gets to item cap?
of course if you do that, you need to have enough lockdowns to support having an addition 125 items in you trash barrel.
Never had a Trash can auto delete. This is why I generally pack it into a beetle and dump it in a city trash that way it is instantly gone.. but it's a royal pain to do that. I'd rather have a handy trash at home that will delete and give me points when I want to flush it.

I agree that a flush option would be nice... but it's only a three minute wait. Is putting it all in a beetle and hauling it to town really preferable to finding something else to do for three minutes...?

For someone with ADD it's a LONG time. In 3 min I could forget what I was doing and not finish it. In 3 min I could have filled up another barrel... in 3 min I could have recalled away and moved on to the next house(I've found that sometimes if I recall away and don't wait for the trash to empty... I don't get the points)... anyway it's a long time to wait when I have things to do.
There was, accessible via context menu. I don't recall when it was removed, or if a reason was given.
I totally agree. Even when training a crafting skill, the timer on the trash can be a hassle

While we are at it: Fix the Scroll of Alacrity and let me pick one for 20k points. I don't want some random one that turns out to be Item ID for a wasted 20k points.
In addition you should run some analytics on the choices to determine what is popular and what is not when changing out rewards.
Do something with those fishing books you get from the fishing quests, even if its to add them to the fishing guy in brit library!!
The lvl6 book is at same reward level as the 120 fishing scroll. oracle of the seas,etc. 120 fishing sells for 20M, Oracle of the Seas 25M, the level 6 book you cant even give away no one wants or needs its completely useless! Shouldn't be given as a high fishing reward!!

You do know you can get an Amalgamator from the void pool rewards, it combines the refinements into a higher level so you don't have hundreds anymore . Combine 2 deflect = 1 prot, 3 prot = 1 hard, 4 hard = 1 fort, 5 fort = 1 invul
Yes but in order to not be wasted that still means 100's of lockdowns before the Amalgamator becomes useful..... because it takes so much to make something else there are still WAY too many of each and every type of the crap to make it useful.... or you have to have 100 of the Amalgamators... also costing lockdowns.
If they had done it right in the first place you wouldn't have to have each and every armor type. Just one set would work on any armor. But they like to waste lockdowns and make something that could be so beneficial stupidly and unnecessarily overly complicated. *shakes head*
Chiming in if the Goblin wants gypsy wagons I would love to see either a flower cart, fish mongers cart or apple cart, if we could use them in a town follow us like a mount or pet that would be awesome! OR they could just be storage and like the ore cart the graphic changes when you add stuff to it for example the flower cart could bloom.
I also second Malag Aste on the new plants. I'd love to see a floral arch (one where you don't have to create the illusion) in a couple sizes one that is allowing 1 person to walk through and one that is 3-4 tiles wide for like a castle hall. Also adding some pink, lavender and yellow flowers like the little blue flax or creeping vines with flowers. Natural leaves, colored flowers. Stacked vanilla helps give some height, and I have used the colored ones, but I much prefer the natural leaves and colored flowers.
