[Discussion] 2013 Rares Festival Event Master List

I will post who won what in this thread. I hope everyone enjoyed the Fest and the Events. We have non-stop spent over 6 months on this. Day and night, non stop. Aside from the donations, we spent over 500M of our own gold, to ensure that we offer a fun and exciting weekend for the community and the shard of Atlantic. Also aside from the Harbingers that were SCHEDULED for events, there were 20 randomly spawned Harbingers at the Rares Festival. They were not spawned by Rares Fest staff, so If you lost something, please don't come kill us.

Once again, at any Rares Festival, please do not go AFK in the lawn. It is ill advised and will almost always result in a random death. From the 20 Harbingers, Rares Fest staff obtained 9 Garbs.

Closing Ceremony:
The Closing Ceremony was scheduled to be at 9PM Eastern Standard Time tonight. Only 7 people showed up and we figured its because Game of Thrones was on. LOL
Here is a recap of the Closing Ceremony, because some things needs to be said, and some people need to see it.

Let Them Eat Cake!!

What is a Birthday without cake? In order to celebrate Alexander's birthday, we need to retrieve his stolen Birthday Cake. Reports have concluded that a bunch of thieving bandits came into Toad Town in the middle of the night, and stole this five-foot cake. To hide the real cake, in-case of an emergency, they have made several duplicates. We have sent out some spys to seek out the Bandit hideout, in charge is none other than Sneaky Toad. With success, we have found the base, along with the many duplicates, guarded by "Cake Eating Monsters". Fight your way through and retrieve my (Alexanders) cake! Gates will be provided to the hideout. Return the Birthday Card that came with the REAL cake and win a special reward, hand picked from my personal collection. More information will be given at the time of the event.

Harbinger Hunger Games!!

A Secluded Area infested with Harbingers (7 Total) and loot all around them! Fight your way through and grab what you want. Gates will be provided from Toad Town for people needing resurected. Try your luck at a garb or picking up loot! This event can take place either in Tram, Fel, or Malas. So sharpen your swords, feed the dragons, and be prepared for a bloodbath! With over 200 million worth of items on the ground, we will give you the experience of a mini Mesanna event! Hidden in a special place will be two very special items, treasured by the citizens of Toad Town. Find these items, and return it to the Toad Town Archivist (Alexander), and win a very special reward.


Rewards:
- Over 500M in loot on the ground. Not counting potential Garbs from the Harbingers
- For those who brought back the white books (Item treasured by Toad Town), a Server Birth Package and Holiday Stag Package

Last Toad Standing!!!

Players will be assigned a numbered toad and will be gated to a secluded area in Felucca where the toads will be roaming. The objective is to find your numbered toad and protect it whilst trying to kill the other toads! The Last Toad Standing is the winner.

(Right before the event, we had everyone go to the stage and pose for us. So we could take a picture. Right before we were going to head to my house, someone decided to pop 4 Harbingers and killed nearly everyone participant for this event. The Rares Festival staff did not spawn them, and we apologize for anyone who lost stuff or if it ruined peoples fun.)

We saw Blend attacking AnAn, it was hilarious!! LOL

Weekend Long Events: Hidden Treasures!!!

Sneaky Toad will make an appearance at a random time and make an announcement. He will tell a Riddle in which you would have to decipher. For this event, everyone must be in the Rare's Fest Chat channel. The Items will ONLY be in the houses of Toad Town Members. First person to tell me what item it is and what house it's in WINS!

Reward: For each riddle, there is a bag. Whoever solves the riddle will receive this bag, as a gift from Sneaky Toad for find the hidden item!!

Everyday, Sneaky Toad Will Make An appearance and drop checks that came from the vaults of the Toad Town Casino.

Lottery at Opening Ceremony:

It was a surprise for those who participated in the Opening Ceremony. Everyone lined up, got a book, Put the book in a mailbox, and 3 people were chosen. We had a little miss hap and decided to pick the winners a different way. We gave away 100M, total in this Lottery.
