ok it seems like all the luna houses on gl have lost all their items everysingle item except rubble , the half of my house nearest luna is missing all its stuff th eother half is ok so it seems like uo has done something wrong at server refresh so i hope they sort it

the person who has stolen them, what will they do with them? far too hot to go on display and only real chance is to sell them for under the market price to someone greedy enough to buy it.

Some people don't care about the origin of an item (be it stolen or clearly duped), and after all, there always will be buyers for rares - even if they are illegal and deleted on sight, someone will want that item and pay well for them.

^^Identity theft is more and more common in the internet, but is also considered as a crime under many legislations. Due to the assumed value of the stolen goods, law enforcement authorities might consider you case seriously.
The culprit has probably left some clues behind, like hacking the email or connection to the account from his own house.

if people from the dev team actually cared about the people that play the game, this would be the time where someone like draconi posts "sorry to hear this happened and i will do everything in my power to recover your items" but they don't
They would then set a standard. They will have to do everything in their power to recover every item ever stolen from any player. Or any player that posts in Uhall. Not going to happen and not their fault if it doesn't.

Sorry for your loss Hemi....shame the devs didnt revert the shard 12 hours after u notified em..everything could have been saved then, yes a few peeps would have moaned about a revert but most would have been ahappier u did not lose the stuff- smaller sacrfice for the greater cause.

Well as they say what comes around goes around. Its scary that there is someone working Europa though because another friend of mine got hit a few weeks ago. They did the same thing, friended a couple chars to his keep and emptied it. He was an idocer with tons and tons of rares. They didt change his pw or anything.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I was thinking that if he was on GL and there was a revert to before all his items were cleaned out, maybe he could recover some. Maybe my brain is just thinking too simple today.I doubt they can manage a RL revert

Well many years ago i also lost a whole house, it was on Ice. There was a terriable lag on Europa, this was back in those times. This was before Malas and arties and stuff so really all I had was a ton of those Vet rewards and some very personal books that had been written to me. I got a icq from a friend saying what happened to your house, I was like huh and they said someone placed another house there. I was like wft. I was on those accts during that time and I know I wasnt hacked. Ofc UO said the usual Blah blah blah ect. So I know what it is like to loose stuff in this game as well, but it is a game and they are pixels even though they are sentimental pixels, or time consuming pixels. Yes there are other games that will give you your items back and I always wondered why UO could not just look at their logs ect when something like this happens but they dont.

It is strange that my post gets deleted and i wonder why the stratics moderators don't want people to know the truth about Hemisphere.
It is true that accusations etc can lead to a lot of c**p but with a person with a nasty past you can expect that to happen. So you got 2 options if you are an intelligent person and that is 1-let the people say what they have to say about this persons past or 2- don't let the person (Hemisphere in this case) post a thread like this at all.
Of course there is a number 3 option-be like Fox News.
If Hemisphere really had changed then he had acknowledged what he did and tried to make up for it, something he never did.

Well he admitted he did it. My first thoughts where ok you grew up and realized the error of your ways. Clearly the guy you did this too is still playing as he is on this forum so why didt you give him his stuff back?
Anyways again the whole point of this is people be careful. There are people on Europa doing some bad things. As I posted before another friend of mine lost tons of stuff a couple weeks ago. I really think that the issue here is keeping your acct safe.

(I wouldn't be talking like this if he had really changed his ways and made up for it in some way, but the guy is playing the victim of something he did to others what makes everything only worse imho).
After all these years FINALLY someone did to y** what y** did to me many years ago, bless this day.
It is funny to see the bloody bowl that y** stole from me
If EA would help y** then i would be shocked considering that they could not do anything for me even when the GM came and saw how y**r buddy was running around in my house.
What did H********e do? Well he just emptied my accounts and transferred the houses BUT-he did leave me a funny jesterhat crafted by h********e himself. Hahahaha i wish i could give y** that crappy hat right now lol.
How did he menage to get my accountinfo?
He had added me to his icq after he saw i was trading a lot at uoauctions. Then he started to talk to me and after a while he invited me to play his version of UO which i did and after logging in with my user and pass he said lololololololol etc in his game and left. Next day i could not enter my accounts and after i finally menaged to retrieve them they where emptied out.
Before that day H********e was just an average scammer and not so much into rares, i was collecting rares and i really think he changed to collecting them as well after he saw my stuff and took them from me.
So, allthough i know now that it was a dumb thing to play his game etc and being an internet/pc noob ain't an excuse, it still doesn't make it right what he did to me. I really hated UO for over a year and did not want to play it anymore cause of all that i worked for and lost and the help that i did not get from EA. They knew very well that H********e did all this but they weren't allowed to do anything with the IP,s. I have been to the police etc with no result at all.
H********e, finally y** got what y** deserve, have a nice day pall.

Move on or quit the game. I actually just bought some Pigs feet on Pac... 25 mil and a crimson. Turned around and sold them on ALT for 75 mil and a crimson.
