How on earth are people imbuing rings and bracelets with 140 or 150 in luck? Can you enchant them with gold or something? But how 150?

No, you cannot enhance jewelry.
As was probably mentioned, you are more than likely seeing individual pieces from the Luck Jewelry set from the '08 Spring Cleaning, which when separate, have 150 luck each, and when worn together, give 400 total luck.
Anything else, pics or /dev/nul
I have those myself, it was not those. They were marked as imbued.

A: They aren't because it's not possible.
As far as I'm aware it isn't possible. If you have seen such items we'd like to see pictures please. Quite possibly the developers would also be interested in such knowledge.
Nothing in that article answers anything remotely near what was asked.

Then post a picture, because until then, nobody is going to believe it, since it violates any and all game mechanics.
Oh, and that link on the luck items was very relevant. You cannot enhance jewelry, and that page linked list a fairly inclusive list of all drops that already have 150 luck on them that might have been imbuable.
Well, thats their idiocy. I really have no reason to lie on the subject and I get no benefits whatsoever from it either.
Then give me a time machine so I can go back and make you a picture. And since when has UO been free of glitches or things that violate normal game mechanics?
Its only the luck set that has 150 luck, I do not know if that was imbuable back when artifacts could be imbued. Either way, pretty irrelevant link to the question still, as uoguides is not always up to date, there could be a glitch or change in the game, etc.

Ah no. I'm not calling anyone a liar. But if this has been done, it's been done through an exploit. It needs to be fixed.
Your propensity for openly supporting cheaters causes you to have little to no credibility, so you are going to have to understand why people want evidence. Unless, of course, it would get one of your buddies busted.
It was less than 5 hours ago that you started this... I'm not sure how much of a time machine you actually need.
If it's only the luck set that has 150 luck (and, fwiw, it IS only the luck set that has 150 luck on it at this point) then your question was answered - someone either imbued an existing artifact - the luck set (which you neglected to post in your OP) - or they didn't imbue one at all, and therefor, they either cheated, glitched, or you're fabricating the truth. The burden of proof is on you, and has been since you hit submit post 4 1/2 hours ago.
If it was a buddy, then I'd just ask him how he did it, not ask here. rolleyes:
I don't openly support cheaters, I don't really care about it, it doesn't bother me much, in fact many stratics posters are far more destructive to the game than most cheaters.
A couple of days back actually. Didn't really bother me, was just curious if there was some sort of new trick to it you could do so as to be able to imbue it myself as well. And just to add, if I was a cheater, then I'd be asking on a cheater forum, not here.
Is some screw lose in your head? I asked a question, I didn't make a statement. There's no burden of proof on me, I don't really care whether they exist or not, I only cared about knowing how they did it, whether there was a legal way, legacy way or if it was some illegal fashion.
Yeah, there were. Though 99% certain it was not the set piece, as they look different than regularly imbued mods.

I said that I don't care beyond knowing how it was done if there indeed was some trick to it, would be a waste to imbue 100, if you could make it 140 through some trick.

How did someone imbue a composite bow with 100% hit fire ball, 100% velocity, 100% hld, 50hci, 50dci, 100di and 60ssi? I mean isnt that a 7-mod item with intensity at around 1000? I mean how is it possible, I could have swore someone was using a comp bow like that. Oh and I dont care at all just some imbued bow that I came across a few days ago.

Yeah it does, I don't yet have so much awesomeness like Chuck Norris that I can move back in time and take screenshots of it. The ring and bracelet were not in my possession and they are not there anymore.
It was on a vendor dummy, its not there anymore.

This thread could have been over in just a few posts, with an answer "Its not possible with current game mechanics and we're not aware of any trick that allows you to do so within the game mechanics, so it must be someone cheating.
