Cannot log into 1 specific char.

As of yesterday I cannot log onto my archer. When I try the window minimizes and will not open. I know he logs onto the server as I can close that client down and log into a second account who sees him standing around. Can anyone shed some light on what to do?

Try moving aside his profile - it might have become corrupted.

(search for a folder with your account name on your computer - the exact path depends on which client you use - in there is a folder for each server and a file or folder for each character; move aside that file and see if it helps - although it will mean you will have to set up your screen/macros again)

Yes. All other chars can be logged on both on that shard and others.

I did have this happen once with a newbie char whom I just deleted, this time deleting would be a costly event.

This worked. Thanks a bunch. I saved my macros.txt so with luck I can just readd that.

Try right-clicking on the UO client on the task bar, and restore/minimize/maximise.
That usually works for me, when client windows disappear.

Joanne was also very quick to respond to another players question on another thread also.

So much for those who are so quick to put ehr down.
