Legends EM thoughts?

Somewhere out there is a mysterious wanderer who has been selected to be the EM for Legends. I don't know if we get any input into how their imprint on our land will unfold, but I thought we should have thread for people to list their wishes, hopes, histories and concerns.

I have a feeling that the EM will be limited to the current story arcs the Dev team is doing.

When event are done, I would hope that they are done a reasonable time with decent notice provided.

yah, I would expect that the new EMs are going to be limited, at least at first, to a bit of roleplaying during the larger events, along the lines of the Ricardo trial, but with a real voice for one of the characters and perhaps different little side plots for the various shards

what I really do not wish to see is any event crumbling down to a line of people screaming "gimme a sash!"

and what I truly DO wish to see is everyone squelched while the EM is speaking.... really, I'm there for the event and I couldn't give a rat's *** how many items for sale you have in your profile

Give em the power to freeze and squelch the kiddies and brats who just won't be still/shut up, so the rest of us can do what we came for.

But it does seem, in the deep corners of what's left of my memory, that in one of the original postings about EMs coming back, it was mentioned they will be here pretty much to assist in the story arcs currently in play, and those leading up to SA. So there shouldnt be much of worry about the old favoritism and stuff which we all have heard about, but which I actually never witnessed...

Interesting to see tho, time will tell

On one of the Jap shards I xfered Vyal to for a while they had a PvP event the winner got a ice steed. Still over there worth a gazillion gold?

Dear EM's,

Its not ALL about the items. Dont play favorites. annouce events as soon as possible and give us plently of notice. Dont hold your events on the same day every week, some people work only weekends, second shift ect.
