Will the missing skills information be restored for the Creatures Database?

Which creature database are you talking about? The official UO site has some information in the Bestiary section of the Playguide, but it's definitely incomplete. I usually look at the Hunter's Guide here on Stratics (http://uo.stratics.com/hunters/index.shtml). There are indexes down both sides of the page in the Hunter's Guide (newer stuff you might be looking for is on the right side) and I believe some folks have been actively updating it.

i was referring to the Hunters Index here in Stratics. I noticed that some of the Animals' skills have been wiped clean with no #s. I noticed it while making a spreadsheet of my fav pets to tame so i don't have to keep opening a browser. (yes, i am a taming freak geek and darn proud).:blushing:

A similar problem plagues uoguide. I painstakingly retrieved data for most of the monsters in UO and some goofball went back over the entries and incorrected them.

They put estimates of values that I had actual values for. *smacks forehead*

I tried...

erm, can you link me to the ones with stats missing? Because I haven't removed any.

There are some that were never put in, simply because we don't have them. The original guide was done from the uo.com bestiary, but as you've noticed, it's not been updated for newer additions.

I am that "goof ball."

The http://www.uoguide.com/Monsters Directory is approaching 300 critters. The many hundreds of hours put in were built on the foundation that Sarphus built. (I am assuming you are: http://www.uoguide.com/User:Sarphus) Attributes of creatures already included in the data base were not removed. As most attributes of UO creatures are a range, and not a single figure, the symbol +/- was added to represent that. An example can be found here: http://www.uoguide.com/Szavetra

If additional stats were available to show the more accurate range of a particular creature, the single attribute was expanded to show what you would actually see in game. An example of that type of change to your work would be this: http://www.uoguide.com/Master_Jonath. The +/- symbol simply means there were not enough different creatures sampled to accurately show what the real spread is. (Rather time consuming to spawn 120 champions to lore and determine the full spread.)

If for whatever reason you wish to see your own data as you left it, click the History tab, and then whatever dated update you wish to visit.

It was clear as I worked on the data base that you had put much effort into laying a substantial amount of groundwork. I encourage players to check it out.

Cheers
Meridus
