Does anyone play a tamer/archer with over GM healing with vet?

I'm trying to figure out how to get a little bit of chiv on here enough to cast enemy of one.

It's just a pvp dexxer killer but what i'm looking for is to be able to say get a slayer and put dragon on a rat champ pluck it bandage dragon at same time with enemy of one.

Any ideas?

My tamer/archer that I use for PvP has:
Taming
Lore
Magery
Archery
Tactics
Vet
Chiv

No healing. I figured with magery and chiv that would be enough.. Im still in the process of working him up though so some of those skills may change.

For a PvP archer what i ran was

105 taming
110 lore
100 vet
100 archery
100 tactics
120 bushido
85 chive

I had a balanced ML Shortbow with HLD 30SSI maxed out dex just to be at cap and used the rest of my stats on mana(124 str) used a hunters headress a 15 taming bracew/25di14hci and a vile ring. I didnt have the option of the greater at the time so i used a beetle mare and didnr focus on dismounting much. With todays awesome runics(that i didnt have at the time) Id say you could be alot more effective than I was.

The idea is to outdamage you opponent instead of relying on a healing skill and I used confidence and ML as a human with max MR on the suit. It was very sweet template. Sometimes Id even opt for the crystal ring for more Mr and droped my chive to 65 for a total for 40 focus after the MR patcher pub48?47? Idont remember without looking it up anyhow That was a lot of fun!

110 Taming
115 Lore
115 Archery

53 vet

I use Faction Spirit of totem, faction fey legs, faction heart of lion, faction storm grip, 1/2 ring with 12 taming +other mods, faction ornament, and then lmc/mr/resist sleeves/gorget. Pair that with a set of FC 1 balanced bows and 4/6 chiv and its a gimped out char for sure. I ride a dread war horse, 140 stam and a mana pool of 90.

(i carry extra jewels with just +vet to get me to 80 if my pet dies)

Hi there. I would agree with (TMC) Lady Arwen. Healing is not needed. Waste of skill points and you would be really trying to cramp up a template worse than the sampire template. 4/6 Chivalry casting coupled with 2/6 Magery is all you need. You have the best of 2 worlds on one template. Healing you would need high dexterity which would draw points away from your mana pool. Bad idea. You can go with high dexterity and have mid range mana pool like Lynk has...if you wanted.

But I run a template similar to what some of these others have and I do just fine. Mana pool is 163. Low dexterity but vet. is not based on dexterity.

The delay for healing a pet with the Veterinary skill is 2 seconds, regardless of a player's dexterity.

4/6 Chivalry casting coupled with 2/6 Magery is all you need.

Except that having magery over 69.9 lowers your chiv FC/FCR cap to 2/6 as well.

The magery casting problem is one of the reasons i suggested bushido. confidence with a close wounds is very fast and heal around 80 at 120 bushido. 35-40 Close wounds and 35-45 concentration. Its near instant at 4/6 and confiodance can be done without stoping at all. Then when youve extra mana going for crits 1 out of 5 hits for 35(cap)

Tagging at 35 and a beetle casting from 3 screens will down the best of them! You can go for the heavey or even the reg bow for either para/mortal or dismount/movingshot. Both have their advantages but require more dex to use effectively. Leaving you vulnerable to lack of mana(healing).

i haven't pvp'd with this char cause well dun know (prolly cause first tamer) but he worx pretty good:

120 - archery
115 - bush
115 - tact
115 - taming
115 - lore
110 - vet
85 - chiv

and this char only has 704.8 real points fun char to play

Yeah good point, I wasn't thinking about that. Then again I only have 60 magery total on mine. Chivalry is the primary spellcasting skill I use for my tamer.
