Hi, I could use your help to figure out what to do with my final character slot on my Atlantic team. I have 6 solid characters all in various stages of development. I'm at a point where I need to off load some skills which were built before I changed template plans. Those skills have to go to a 7th char or I'm going to have to dump them via soulstone. I used to play mainly all melee chars, but now I'm using more mages. So I have a glut of misc skills to employ in a 7th char.
Here's my current team:
1: Necro-Mage (magery, med, eval int, necro, ss, wrestle)
2: Sampire (mace, bush, parry, necro, tactics, chiv, anat)
3: ABC Archer (archery, bush, tactics, necro, chiv, resist, anat)
4: Bard-Mage (music, disco, provo, magery, med, eval int)
5: Smith/Tailor (smith, tailor, carpentry, arms lore, magery, med, + imbueing)
6: Scribe/LJ/Miner (scribe, magery, med, lj, mining,tinker, eval)
I have the following skills "free" to move from other chars:
- 100 swords
- 100 fencing
- 100 med
- 100 focus
- 97 tactics
- 91 spirit speak
I'm split on my vision for slot 7. I was thinking about doing a tamer to fill out my team, but that puts all but the med to waste. I could use the swords, tactics, and spirit speak and do a Wraith-samurai (or wammy). That uses the skill points the best, but it is pretty similar to my Sampire. Or maybe I should get over the lost skill points and go with something entirely different. I was thinking about making this final char a Doom-rat. Basically, build him up, get him to Doom, then leave him there. I really like that idea, but am not sure what sort of character is self-sufficient within Doom. I'd really be interested if there are some good ideas for a Doom-rat template that might use one of the skills I've got free. My inclination was for a Bard (disco,provo) mixed with SW and Magery/Med. Not sure if that is viable in Doom, however.
BTW, I would have put this in a specific profession forum, but figured this was the right forums as it is a general question.
