Stick insects, catering to the lowest common denominator. They have scaling on the paperdoll (there was a bug that showed it up), but it's not implemented as a feature. If they gave us that option, I'd make my main character about a foot and a half shorter than the statuesque figures they have by default. They definitely got the better pose, though, the male's "alert crouch" looks like he's got abdominal cramps, and his cheekbones look like jug handles.

I don't really play KR or look at my profile too often, but I remember how dopey guys looked in Third Dawn when they changed it lol. That, and how we (all) rode beetles. Oh man.

Anyway, polymorph works wonders. I'm more an anti-elf candidate.

Elves got wooden armor, that has a base of 16 and enhancements of up to +18, which totally screwed humans over.

That makes a lot more difference than say the choice between the Heart of the Lion and the Violet Courage.

Besides, can't a male still use a Unicorn to attack? And have you ever used vampiric embrace? ;D

I like the fact that when your character dies that the female corpses look sometimes a lot more attractive laying on the ground that the male corpses. LOL But other than that I think that females really do have more of an advantage.

I personally only played male characters, up until aos came out. Then I made a female tailor. I guess thats a bit sexist. But anyways since that time I have added a few more, now I have 4 total female characters compared to 10 male characters. Only 2 of my characters are elves, which happens to be 2 of the female characters.

So now while hunting when I come accross good female armor, I have a few characters that can use it. I also don't usually advertise to others who my female characters are, so I feel funny when horn balls at the bank treat me differently when I'm playing a female character.

But in general most players seem to be nicer to female characters, so theres another advantage. Seriously you can stand around with a dead pet for hours waiting for a rez on a male character, but i've never had to wait with my female characters. Go figure..

This was a stupid mistake and their fix was to force you to join factions and get your rank up to wear a pair of earrings. (Yes I have a faction player so don't QQ to me about that) I think I even remember reading that they're doing gargoyle only items because apparently this dev team doesn't learn from anything they do. Making race only wear isn't enticing me to buy your game guys. Thanks.

That would be because of the GBU. Glowy Bug Union, Elvish Chapter. All elven common areas must have at least one Glowy Bug every 200 feet. It was agreed to several millenia ago and the Council of Elves' Commerical Fauna Commitee keeps getting deadlocked in bringing the issue up.

Actually, with the "forms" changes, recently. I though I read that polymorph forms, from scrolls (presumably without the required skill) would time out after a number of minutes (2?).

I agree that UO is sexist. For example, female NPCs are, on the tracking menu, classified as "monsters" rather than "NPCs;" female necromancers who put themselves in wraith forms are Wailing Banshees instead of wraiths; and female fighters do less damage.

Hey, my male character fights succubi and rides a unicorn. He is hellbent on subverting gender expectations. (while still expecting women to clean his house and bear his children, but he's a "shovenist," eh.)

Females gets stripped by Satyrs, and I don't really like the slender waist female characters get when wearing male platemail tunic. Not much of a disadvantage though.

The biggest advantage is being able to wear female armor and not having your spells reflected back on you when fighting Semidar (the Abyss spawn champion that looks like a Succubus). I don't seem to recall if normal succubi reflect spells on you, do they?

UO has always been sexist...... You ever notice how 90% of the creatures of UO have only one sex..... Male.... Do you see any female Orcs?, Trolls?, Ogres??? Where are all the females? We all know that the male paperdoll is hideously ugly in KR..... I do hope they fix that for SA.

Also the female wraith form is highly visible where the male form is not.....
