After a long and vicious argument with one of the other candidates over which one of us should make this post, I drew the short straw (we had a synonym competition!) so here it is. *takes a deep breath*

Has anybody heard back from EA on the subject of the event moderators? I know that you all have more pressing things to worry about – spinnerets, trick-or-treating, the lag, threads, fighting over which facet is better, the lag, UO IS DEAD!!! and the lag amongst them – and the deadline only just closed, but I can’t be the only one who keeps compulsively refreshing his inbox in the hope that maybe… maybe…

Did they send out any early offers, or are they all going to come in one big delightful chunk?

Anyway, I’ve broken my did-not-apply masquerade now and will look very silly when I don’t get the position (thankyou, lady who out-synonymed me, for opening me to ridicule.) But I must know! It’s driving me mad! MAD!

The deadline was yesterday but the application page is still up. I'm sure they have their hands full sorting applications. They will most likely make preliminary choices, then contact people and secure the names and then release them. That’s just an assumption though. Maybe they will just flat out release names but I would think they would contact their choices first to hammer out details. Hours worked, wages, rules, etc. That way they have a solid list of names in case people have changed their mind since applying or can’t fit the final criteria for the job. I will be surprised if they release results this week.

Actually I think they are waiting for the applications to come in due to the effect of lag :D


Serious tho. I can't wait until EMs come back into the game. That was one of the best parts of UO.

I would agree with that, i loved ems, seers, protectors (or were they called guardians???), and all them, i remeber for the elven glade on LS, a EM made a little event for the small community since everyone there got along so well :D
