Good Loot?

Does anyone know of anything that drops good loot thats not extremely hard to kill?? Im not just talking about gold, I have enough of that. Im mostly looking for armor and weps. But nothing I kill seems to drop good items anymore.. exept swoops but, their way harder now than they used to be.

The Invasion spawn from the current event are dropping pretty good stuff. Other than that it's mostly peerless.

I get lucky with Miasma at times and pretty easy to kill if you lure her out of her hole so you have time to loot.

Have you tried rune beetles, rotting corpses, onis, cu sidhe, or greater dragons?

Havent tried rune beetles or rotting corpes much, I used to kill onis alot for gold, but they dont really drop any good items. I dont kill cu sidhes much because I dont have negative karma. On my necro who does have negative karma, if I even try to go in and attempt to kill one, I always get ganked by the faries that are sitting by the entrance waiting for me. And Ive tried greater dragons a little bit, but they dont seem to drop a bunch of great loot either.

Dread spiders don't have much in gold anymore, but they seem to be giving me great loot.

I think the Lady Mel is probably the best place in the game for good loot and managable risk. I've never tried it solo but have done it many times with a pair of tamers. Adding in a third tamer,mage/healer,bard or archer can reduce the time it takes to just a few minutes and still makes for a favorable split of the loot.

For solo play, swoop is still good. He's been made a bit harder but is still not a problem. Miasma is also good but more dangerous. Para bloods and poisons have also been good to me and can make for a more casual hunting experience.

One more often overlooked place is high end t-maps and dungeon chests. These may not be "worth" your time but make for a nice change to Kill/Loot/Repeat if your into that sort of thing.

What's the luck on your suits? And if you're using pets, do you make sure to tell them to guard you? I think you'll get some okay stuff once in a while if you can get luck up to the 300-800 total range.

That amount of luck seems to get my tamers some nice loot once in a while, just enough to let them also collect a fair amount of gold in the same outing without having to be constantly recalling to the bank or house to drop off stuff (15-20k, since most are human and can carry more). They also aren't collecting enhanceable loot so fast that the house is ready to explode every other day. (I don't usually worry about luck with my other types of hunters, since most of them are elves. It's bad enough just managing to carry a decent amount of gold with them without constantly doing a bank run.)

I find with weapons and armor the best items always come from crafting. As for looting its the jewelry I look for and the succubus has some really nice loot.

The dread spiders have been revamped but I havent tried them sice and there were top notch at one time.

If your up for it the fel versions of most high end mobs typically act like they give a luck bonus of about 500-800. I definitely notice a difference in fel vr tram for loot.

Shadow wyrms are great for loot!

Any named mob is great but by far the best items(normal loot) comes out of Bedlam. The named mobs here are absolutely sweet. Gold Jewelry, weapons, even an occasional enhanceable piece of armor that compares with runic.

Past that are the paragons. Bloods ehhe not really but the balron and AW have good stuff on them but are really hard to kill in a timely fashion as to make it better farming then the non paragon spawns. But worth the shot if ya can handle them.

Blood Elementals have among the best loot and are relatively easy to kill. You can find them on the lowest level of Shame or in Ilshenar. But watch out for the Paragons there.
