Cloak of Corruption and Threads

Is it possible to get a comment from the devs regarding the number of threads required to do whatever it is we might do with the Cloak of Corruption in the future? I would sure hate to waste all the threads I've acquired on the new, Magicina rubble only to find out that I am lacking when all my beloved cloaks get the dev love. Even just a rough guesstimate would be good (more than one, less than ten. . . something like that).

The part to get the glass dagger sorta came and went a little to quick. All I remember is the last instructions and that was to hide it good and you will know when it is time to use it. Now if I can only remember where I hid it.
