Vendors and your items

I was wondering why is it that if you take an item off your vendor you get a message on the item that says vendor penalty (4600 gp) and it doesnt come off?

Is there a bug of some sort?

this is new vendor changes.. basically if you take an item off after 30 minutes of putting it on and before 24 hours it will charge you the daily price as a penalty.

the next time that item is placed on the vendor you gotta pay it upfront.

But i have over 12mil on the vendor that dont make sense. And secondly i was given a gift off of a vendor from a friend and its been more than 24 hrs and still has that message.

u have to put it back on the vendor, it will then charge u that gold penalty (takes it from your vendor's funds) and then the tag is removed

It would seem that items that were on the vendors before the vendor penalty was instated get charged if removed, so I assume there's a bug or something with it right now

Correct, I've had some items on a vendor for 6 months and get charged the penalty by just removing them now for the very first time. Its a bug.
