I am thinking that this is probably to fix a exploit or they would have stated what it was for!Maybe they will fix Sicarii too? *crosses fingers*
when you guys say your runes are blocked, do you mean for like recall/sj? what about gate?Hopefully it is a fix for the issue of the town invasion getting bugged.
On Baja the crimmy in Brit was killed the npcs returned to normal but runes still blocked. Which has left the 3 towns now infected Yew, Trinsic, Moonglow with infected NPC's but no invasion/officers for 3 days now.
Kind of hard to enjoy event when it doesnt work
Maybe they will fix several issues at once. One can hope, can't we?I am thinking that this is probably to fix a exploit or they would have stated what it was for!
well at least it wasn't taming...that would have really hurt.I myself kinda hope they do a revert! I made a big boo-boo this morning![]()
While attempting to put 120 wrestle back on my tamer.
Always check arrows before adding and removing skills! What good is a tamer with 40 lore.
Oh well, my mistake and I always warn others to be careful lol, practice what I preach!!
I am hoping for a 6 month revert!Everybody say revert...
i hope it ends on the 17th so things from this event keep some of their value atleastWould be good if they extended the Halloween activites by a few days as a result of all the problems. Considering they left it on until Feb last year, I don't see what an extra week would hurt.
I hate when the *value* of an object is the main driving force behind when an event should end. Events are supposed to be for the fun of it all - and if that fun includes items (which can be fun, yes) then who really cares if an item is losing it's value in the name of fun.i hope it ends on the 17th so things from this event keep some of their value atleast
I agree.I hate when the *value* of an object is the main driving force behind when an event should end. Events are supposed to be for the fun of it all - and if that fun includes items (which can be fun, yes) then who really cares if an item is losing it's value in the name of fun.
Seriously.

I agree too. Those who missed out on playing because of the lag deserve the chance at getting the items themselves. I think it's pretty selfish to expect to get rich off those players by ending the event on date. The lag affected a lot of players.I hate when the *value* of an object is the main driving force behind when an event should end. I'm with you here!Would be good if they extended the Halloween activites by a few days as a result of all the problems. Considering they left it on until Feb last year, I don't see what an extra week would hurt.
AMEN!!!I hate when the *value* of an object is the main driving force behind when an event should end. Events are supposed to be for the fun of it all - and if that fun includes items (which can be fun, yes) then who really cares if an item is losing it's value in the name of fun.

I am going to try not to sound condescending, but just because YOU do it that way EVERYONE should??? Some of us actually do these things to have fun AND get new things. NOT to make "a ton of gold once it ends". With the lag and such it has been close to impossible to particpate in some of the events properly so it would be nice to have it extended a short amount of time.once new events come out i only do them for the sole purpose of making a ton of gold once it ends, i stock up on all the new items until the right time
LS was still VERY laggy when I played at lunch, unfortunately.well it certainly wasnt a lag fixing publish, man, it's horrendously laggy, im almost embarressed i was excited about getting back from work for this ****
i feel like im playing an american shard from the uk, and i play europa! good god when will this torture end?
The fun of an event is subjective. The fun of an event is hunting items that are valuable!!! There is no point if there is an overabundance of the rewards. The desire is lost to hunt items of no value. Period. The excitement of getting something of value is what is fun! There needs to be a timetable for an event such as Halloween for this very reason. Everyone has the same period of time to be involved with the event, so why extend it too long?? I can see maybe a few days because of the sicarii issue. But no more than a few days!

Thank you for the Info...The publish was to fix an issue with Sherry the Mouse that was causing the crashing problems on Origin.
Unless the crashes ended up being player-triggered.You couldn't have put that up on the Publish Notes in the first place so we wouldn't have been complaining about lack of communication for the last 4+ hours?
... and normally they tell us what they are publishing, unless they are patching an EXPLOIT in which case they tell us AFTER they have closed it and normally without much detail.Unless the crashes ended up being player-triggered.
In which case, making such a bug public would have likely resulted in other shards being affected.
You don't have to complain about lack of communication.
Now this is just toooo funny! A mouse actually crashing a whole shard! Just what did the Originians do to that vermin? The publish was to fix an issue with Sherry the Mouse that was causing the crashing problems on Origin.
In the past, at least, shard crashes have been a key part of various dupes.... and normally they tell us what they are publishing, unless they are patching an EXPLOIT in which case they tell us AFTER they have closed it and normally without much detail.
Obviously, with the departure of Jeremy, the level of communication from Mythic is much diminished but even with much lowered expectations, Mythic still seems to under-perform.
I haven't seen anyone even ACKNOWLEDGE or APPOLOGIZE for the loss of pets on Origin yesterday though aparently many people did lose theirs... There's been ZERO communication on the status of Character Transfers since the 4th or 5th (whenever they posted it was broken and being investigated)... and today they announce EMERGENCY PUBLISH with no content info for 5 hours when they easy could have said "EMERGENCY PUBLISH TO FIX SHERRY AND PREVENT ORIGIN CRASHES FROM SPREADING TO OTHER SERVERS"...
I'm not asking for them to offer a flawless or "bug free" game... or even that they don't make mistakes on occasion... I'm asking that they communicate with us.
Thank you Mi'Lady. The publish was to fix an issue with Sherry the Mouse that was causing the crashing problems on Origin.
