Is it possible for someone in the US to buy codes from the Japanese online store?

I'm asking cause I have some extra cash to spend now and was thinking of trying to buy some item codes for stuff that aren't available in the US version of the shop for some odd reason...Namely the Tokuno Dyes from the first version of the event [the GOOD colors] as well as Spring Decor tokens I never got the first time around.

Anyone tried?

I tried every browser I could to decode the Japanese site so I could buy the codes but was unable to get it to change the language so I could order.

I really feel that it is bs that the Japanese customers get special treatment over other countries. We all pay our monthly fees, we should all be allowed the same content.

I would love to be able to purchase the dyes from the Japanese store. It's ridiculous they were removed from the game in the first place. I'm amazed they haven't shown up in the US store already since EA charges us for so many other items.

Having not been able to participate the last ToT go around, I'd love to see these available on the US store website.

I too have tried purchasing them to no avail on the Japanese website. I came to the conclusion that they weren't available anymore even from the Japanese site..

The real question is: WHY? These items would be selling like hot cakes if they were available to non Asian countries. What exactly is stopping promotions like these from running in the US? If they had any brains they would make it a monthly/every-other-monthly occurrence for the sake of bringing in cash.

When I bought my tokens from the Japanese store, (back in March) I kinda recall them saying it was a limited time only thing, so I wouldnt be surprised if you can't buy them anymore =)

I still think that if the same promotion was available to the other shards, the profit would be significantly greater. Many more players would participate, bringing in even more money than what would have been made on transfer tokens.

It doesn't bother me that the Japanese shards have different promotions and events just for them. It does bother me that we are never given the chance to have the same items. It shouldn't be hard to give us a similar promotion at a later date, and still keep their promo/event special for them.

Atlantic. Problem is though I don't actively play UO enough anymore that I have the cash to buy them in-game. I have a few on Catskills that I got free when they gave them out as a "sorry for the server crashing" thing though...
That's kind of why I just wanted to buy some tokens cause I don't have in-game gold heh.

It just bothers me greatly that the US store doesn't have the same items as the Japanese store. Not that the spring decor are all that amazing or anything but just a few different deco items to change around once in a while would be nice to have...

Even if you translated the website, I think when you go to purchase from the Japanese site, you have to have a credit card with a billing address in Japan in order to purchase there... not sure about that part though.
