Is Origin still down and you don't know why and you are still investigating... or have you resolved the issue and not updated the website?
It seems like frequently issues don't get closed on the "Herald" even if they are closed in the game...

I was just curious because it seems like sometimes they don't "Close out" their notices... the "Character Transfer" Announcement last week just said we're aware and they never said anything more about it... like we've fixed it, or we're waiting for new hardware, or anything...

Nice that they SEEM to think they fixed Origin, but haven't updated the Herald website that it's back up and running... also not recognizing the issue of people losing their pets due to this unplanned outage.
I don't know what they can or should do about it, but at least they should post that they are aware of the issue and this is their statement about it... don't just pretend it isn't happening.

I wouldn't trust the server uptime until we get an official statement. Last night I was like "oh! Origin's up!" and proceeded to scout cities to see what's invaded. I lost connection before I was done scouting. Fortunately I was playing my primary invasion character (a non tamer) or I would be really upset right now.
I wouldn't even consider playing a tamer until we know the stability issue has been resolved.

Just a followup on my guildmate's status, we did have a guild member(tamer) who was able get back on around 2am pac time and was able to retame our guilds unbonded pets, however I am sure many lost there pets.

And yes, today will be a warrior/mage/bard character with etheral mounts, day of play.

After reading this I figured I better log the tamer in and park the pets just to be sure they were safe in the stables. Ihad been working the CD yesterday morning in Brit and apparantly our revert took us into the middle of that battle.
Pets were gray right by the E Brit bank. Both flagged on me almost as soon as I logged in, tried area peace but died, both pets guardwhacked for their unruly behavior.
The Bake needed more training but the Rune Beetle had been a project of about 2 years. Bummer
