no I have 20 so far I don't believe anyone would bother destroying any totems to make the Liche go away while the are able to farm him for the book and trinket since there is no reward for using the sac's, maybe nov 16th if I knew which one was closet to being destroied I'd use the sac's

Um, I haven't completed the quest yet at all. I'm a greedy bastage that just wants L337 L007. WOOT!

*edit*Ya know, actually I was just thinkin about this. It would have been more complex, but if they had put this in place where pulling a book or totem was either enhanced or only possible once you had committed yourself to eradicating the foul spawn...

I've used 6 and am hunting for more.

The lack of reward has basically killed my chances, though.

Also from an RP perspective, the Khaldun "invasion" is contained, and the Shadowlord invasion is not....So that seems to Galen like it should be the priority, even though the Khaldun "invasion" is in Jhelom (the city he represents on the High Council).

As I understand it, you use the sack to destroy the totem in order to stop the spawn. But since the spawn will eventually be stopped at some point anyway, and as you apparently get nothing for destroying the totem, other than bragging rights, why bother?

If the UO playerbase landed in Oz, the munchkins would be wiped out in a night.

Because a rumor would start that they drop oversized lollipops as special loot.

If the devs want the PCs to "do the right thing" they need to reward that path of action with some sort of item drop. Because that's the only way most UO players will do it.

Santa is evil...he breaks into your house via the chimney, steals your cookies and then leaves crappy gifts to make up for his cookie heist. Killing him is the right thing to do, the black gloves are just a reward for bringing him to justice.

Oh I dunno. Fred and Bob wars were very cool. Casting EQ at the Brit bank ...lol. Well, I don't think any one but the offender actually died but OMG it was funny to see.

with all the graveyards and no way of telling which totem is closer to being destroyed it's like Dev's wasted time on a pointless part of the quest. I seriously don't believe they actually thought about this quest long enuff, looks like they through a bunch of ideas in a box to try and create a quest at the last min not realizing cause and effect it would actually have.
