Liche rewards - wondering . . .

Ok I mainly fight the Skel liche at the GY's with my necro/mage have presently received 5x tali's and no spellbooks. Started talking with a guildmate who has been using only his fighter char he had received 3x spellbooks and no tali's.
Of course we immediatly traded hehe but it got me thinking has anyone else noticed mage chars getting just the talis and fighters getting just the spellbooks or were we just unlucky not getting the item we were after as loot.

ha crazy, thinkn bout it...i have gotten 4-5 tali's all from mages and the only book i got was from my dexxr...hmmm

Upto now, my necro mage has only received spellbooks and my samurai only talismans

i have 6 tali's 2 with owned by and 5 books so far not as many as a few friends have but the chance for either seems random just bad luck on the part of those who only getting one type is all look for pattern elsewhere!

3 of mine 2 books 1 tali were with my tamer
1 tali on my mage
all the rest were with my dexxer

friends used archers exclusively and one of them had 12 tali's 5 books
other person i play with gotten like 12+ books and 5 or 6 talismans

Ive only gotten Conjurer Books (a bunch in fact) but not a single Tally with an Archer.

I use one character, a paladin-swordsman, for pretty much everything, including this event.

I've gotten both.

I see no correlation, and find all suspicious of such to be reactions to the typical "streaky" random number generator that we've all come to know and love in this game.

Question please. Since I've only fought the Skeletal Lich a couple of times, all were on my bard and I got nothing from it, does the book and/or talisman drop into your pack or do you have to loot it?

You have to loot it.

Both the spellbook and the Tali are a dark red they stand out you wouldnt have missed it as long as you loot the Liche. Tali is the round type

Yeah I probably won't get one either. The liches seem to be custom made for archers/tamers.

Because I spend more time barding the Fiends to keep them off the people fighting the lich and healing them so I don't get in much damage.

Guess I should take my archer next time.

Why not?

There's nothing else worth soloing as a mage and doom's drop rate on artifacts is a joke. 20 rounds and get a bone crusher or holy knight's breastplate woo.

Several liches get a 10mil item, I think it's quite worth the time investment.

Slap them Fiends onto the Liche as well as the little Cursed Ones. Unless you travel with a pack of 20 ppl you will get looting rights. All luck of the draw!
