Anyone else tried to dye the Trinket?

Anyone else tried to dye the Trinket with the Treasures of Tokuno dyes?

I get told it's not an artifact.

Which is to me weird...If it's not an artifact, what is it? Is it an item type? If so, that mean we're going to see others? Like, say, a Demon Slayer Conjurer's Trinket? (I have mixed feelings on that possibility, for my part.)

Anyone else having a similar issue?

It's just a talisman. You can't dye regular talisman either.

And, if you can't do it then what makes you think others can?

Weird.

Thank you!

Weird how this isn't an artifact but the ones from the library are!

Oh well; thank you for responding.

With that same thought, then why would a scrappers by dyable with pigments but a Clainin's Spellbook from the library is not ? :)

Some things are just meant to be classified as arties and some aren't. Same reason why some event item clothing can be dyed and other obvious clothing items such as cloaks and robes are not dyable at all. They simply coded it that way and it's not a bug :)

Ive been able to dye the Primer of Arms and a Minstril WInd talisman
By regular talisman I think they meant things like you get from normal monster drops and heartwood turnins.

If you go up to a Changling and let it morph into you, you can confirm the base item types for your equipment by checking out it's new paperdoll.

Which begs the question: Is it the drop method or the actual item property? Ever get a void tali off a peerless and try to dye it?

The Totem of the Void is dyable.

Yes it is. The implication, however, is that this tali is not dyable because it is a looted talisman and not a drop into the pack or a pick from a collection. The conclusion(since you can dye a looted totem of the void) is that the talisman property is incorrect when it was created. The talisman is not an arti but merely a talisman because of the way it is spawned. It's merely a named drop and not an arti. Intended or unintended?

This is only important if when things arrise like imbuing. Since it is not an actual arti is this object capable of being enhanced? Can it be unraveled? It's status for the dyes may also indicate it is so. Or someone just didn't code it right and it will be a bug in the future. Yay!
