Thank you for the pumpkins! I was really sad that there was no mention of them this year but Origin reports they ARE spawning. I guess it’s just one of those things; it doesn’t seem like Halloween without pumpkins!

Perhaps there is a hidden message? I wasn't around last Halloween, but the Halloween before that the pumpkins spelled out a message (you just has to ignore the extra "'s" in the message). I'm at work right now but I kept a set of the pumpkins spelling out the message.

Hmmm.. I am out begging, but off hand I think it said "dark chaos rises" or maybe it is rising. Anyhow, when I get back onto the account that owns the house, I'll look and post it if someone hasn't already

pete, you go to a farm and you pick up a pumpkin :)
theres one at the back of cove. theres 4-5 behind castle british theres some all over the joint :)

They are on the ground at farms in the patches. You just pick them up. If it is the same as it has been in the past, there is a small random chance that a black one will spawn.

Yeah that's why we had weird ones. It was like:
da's pumpkin & rk's pumpkin = Dark
ch's pumpkin & aos's pumpkin = Chaos

I forget the last word... maybe it was rising but I thought it was something else.

Ah ok, I have bags of these things from IDOCs I just never knew where they came from.

If I get a break from dying for webs I'll have to go pumpkin looting.

I have a storage house with over 500 of them from 2006... I think I'm going to unload some. Too bad I wasn't around for Spring Cleaning or I'd have made out like a bandit with all the stuff I have!

Ahhh awaits sounds right. I tried to go look with my beggar (she was my husbands, but hell I am doing all the work so I am stealing her), but she isn't accessed to the house that has the pumpkins :(

So do they spawn black on the ground, like '06, or do they turn black once you place them in your backpack, like last year?

If this has been posted else where I am sorry, but I can not find it. Is there a list of the names on the Pumpkins?

There are also Large and Small, Pumpkins and Jack O Lanterns with the same names.

I haven't gotten a Drac one yet. But I did get a couple of Leurocian's (again, spelling?). The first thing I did with it was set it on the ground and kicked it for an hour. heh. I keed!

I picked one up last night, its either Draconi or Leurocian, I can't remember. I locked it down on my steps. So far it's the only holiday decoration I've managed to put up.

I'm trying to find a Sakkarah one (she's such a dolly). I looked yesterday to no avail. I'm hoping that all of the names are on all of the shards. Does anyone know if this is the case? Thanks.

I would assume they would all be the same on every shard.
What shard do you play on? If you're on cats, let me know, I'll keep an eye out for one.

Thank you Black Sun, I appreciate the offer but I'm on Baja. Last night, I spoke with other Baja players and they informed me they had found Sakkarah's pumpkins. I'll just have to keep watching.

Is there one finite list of names and then you can get large and small Pumpkins, large and small Jack-o-Lanterns (same art as Pumpkins) all with the same names... so basically if you have 20 names, there's 80 total pumkins in the set?

Then there's Black versions of all 80??? When I was out collecting pumpkins I collected over 100 pumpkins and Jacks but only found 1 that was black... What's the chances to find a whole set in black?

If you look at this thread, several responces ago MedeaDF gave us the entire list.

There are 72 of each x 4 for 288.

I have only seen the Black Jack O Lanterns, I have 11 Large and 1 Small.

Not sure if you knew this or not so forgive me if you already do.

When you destroy pumpkins (or jack-o-lanterns) or move them off the server, new ones will spawn. So if you want to increase your chances of getting a black pumpkin, just remove/destroy all the old pumpkins and see if a black one will spawn with the new batch.
