Note that the tapestry faces the other way compared to the Magincia event rubble. Moongate granite seems lighter in colour than other moon gate granites.

Well they said that none of the rubble would overlap with the Mag rubble, and I waited to see what the new rubble was like... BUT I am still seeing two that look like they are exactly the same as the Mag rubble. The large boulder looks exactly the same as mine and the pier post with the rope around it looks exactly the same as one a friend of mine bought. Couldn't those have their colors changed as well???

I noticed that too. Not sure why they didn't change those two or at least change their color.

I'm happy either way but wouldn't mind if they changed their color.

Pics updated. Missing 2 more rubble. Probably the empty plant bowl and the pile of logs. I have no idea how that house owner got that different looking rubble tree that I posted in the old pics.

I received those trees too the first day they put publish 56 on test center then they changed it to the other items.

Why would they change the trees, anyone know? The one that is a reward now looks a lot like the new cypress tree from the recent plant additions.

They changed it back? That's what I got before they changed it. I haven't got it since then. Did you get that one after they posted the change?

I've done it five times and so far it's the same as the list halequin has.

I believe Hunter Moon is referring to the current one looking more like the cypress tree (please correct me if I am wrong). There hasn't been any changes as far as I know, so I'd been testing the Khaldun event yesterday and didn't do the Magincia quests.

Sorry? I wasn't talking about the tree. I was saying the large boulder and pier piece with rope are still exactly the same as the old Mag rubble and they didn't change them even though they said nothing would overlap the old rubble. I did like the old tree they had better though since that looks like the one you can grow

I haven't been able to play with pub 56 at all yet, so please excuse me if this sounds really dense... I jumped on my necro/mage and headed for Magincia just now. I got the Thread of Thought quest. I ran into town and cast exorcism around 4 different forsaken souls and nothing happened. I was literally standing right on top of 2 of them and nothing happened. I saw another one come running at me and cast exorcism again, this time his health bar redlined and a black gate opened, but he didn't die or disappear and immediately started gaining health again at a very fast pace. I tried casting on him, but had a corrupted souls start beating on me and had to run away to take him out of the picture. So, I run back into town and my forgotten soul has healed entirely and casting exorcism again does nothing. None of the other spells seem to knock off any hps either. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same experience...I cast Exorcism standing right next to the Forsaken Souls repeatedly, and nothing seems to happen.

I can't get exorcism to work either. Do you have to be in factions to participate in any of this?

Something went weird between TC1 and Origin - we've fixed it and it'll be in the follow-up publish we're doing soon.

The one with the rocks and the painting only shows 3 in this thread, and that's all I came up with while doing the quests. The other 2 had 4 each though.

There are 12 different types of rubble in all.

The pic in the second post with the rocks has 4 items -

Moongate granite
Boulder
Tapestry
Empty flower pot

On my shard, I have have not completed my collection yet, but am getting alot more of the barren trees than any other rubble.

I was going through my Moonglow stash of threads and I noticed about half of my Fate threads were now Thought threads and I haven't even been to Magincia to get any threads at all.

I believe you are correct, this is the under the "Old Magincia" section instead of the Halloween section:

These are the Halloween stuff:

New quest starting in the Yew Courthouse: talk to Jasper and read the book on the table
Can be done completely in either Felucca or Trammel
Every step required in the chain, skipping steps will keep you from completing the event
Event can be done once per character
Participating characters must be 15 days old (except for Test Center)
Khaldun temporarily available in Trammel for the duration of the event
Shadowfiends now perfom the life drain attack
General increases to HP and stats for Khaldun creatures
Slightly increased the spawn rate of Shadowfiends, Spectral Armors, and Zealots
Note: Shadowfiends and Spectral Armor drop loot onto the ground instead of leaving a body
Note: Players cannot resurrect inside Khaldun
New Trick or Treating rewards
GM Beggars also have a new reward

with me, it was half my Life threads - I had 3 times as many life as fate, and maybe 1 or 2 Fate threads may have turned, but I ended up with enough thought threads from the "life" piles to get two characters' quests done, and a third person half-way.

Ok, tonight I tried to do magincia thread quests with my tamer by swithing out 2 of her sklls and substitued them for Necro and SS which I had stoned. So I go to Magincia to accept quest and found that I can't even get any of the quests. What gives? What am I dong wrong?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Morgana is a mage tamer (or was one). The only other quest she has pending is the Sicarri/dungeon kalhun. Server was going down for maintence so couldn't finish her off in time.

i got the same message yesterday Morgana - it was because i had the strings in my back pack but hadn't clicked them as quest items (so they turn orange). make sure they're in the top level of your pack and make sure you toggle them as quest items.

They could just switch the Threads of Thought with the Threads of Fate? Such that the Thought threads can be obtained from combat, and the rest of us non-Necromancers can use our stores of Thought and Fate threads to finish the quest?

Galen - I'm having my Necro gather up threads for the rest of my characters. I haven't had any trouble with the life/thought, but since I'm not very heavy into combat, it might be a good idea if i had someone like you keep the Corrupts off me while I get the others. Since I have trouble getting the Fate threads, maybe a trade-off? I have no problem helping, and even if you never get a chance to come by I can always just give you the ones you dont have. I live in Magincia, so it's entirely unavoidable that I'm always there while this is going on.
- On the better days, you actually have to look for the Corrupts because they're beaten back so well. lol.

I've been thru the quest 8 times, with these results:

Life quest: 2 easels, 3 pulleys, 3 bookcases, 0 wall hooks

Thought quest: 4 dishing stumps, 3 log piles, 1 tree, 0 pier post

Hi there,

after reading this thread I went to Magincia yesterday evening.

I don´t have any necro.It was incredible easy to get fate threads so after awhile I decided if I could get any life threads.

And yes I got them easy enough with only 20 points SS from JOAT.
I got threads from every soul even if I had to make a few tries of speaking to them.Got 5-6 in just a few minutes.


I even tried to kill some forsaken souls but I didn´get anything from them.
Maybe it´s not possible or maybe I simply didn´t kill many enough.

If there are any brave Europa player reading this and have problem getting fate threads we I can trade for thought threads.

This is the biggest joke of a quest and the reward is even a bigger joke.

You have to use the Exorcism spell on the Forsaken Souls to release them and get the Threads of Thought. You need 100 SS to cast the Exorcism spell.

I have found that the Forsaken Souls are the easiest to get threads from. The restless are the hardest mainly because it takes longer than the others and there aren't as many.

5 bookcase(as you said rarest)
6 coat hanger
4 wall carving
6 pot(it took me about half my chars to even get one, i even traded for one so real numbers are minus 1 pot and plus 1 moongate rock. but once i got 1 they just kept comming n comming)
6 wood pile
7 pier
8 dishing stump
3 tree(as you said rarest)
