Interesting Video...

I just watched the PART 1 video on Stratics news page, where the HOT guild challenges Meraktus the Tormented:

I noticed that the guy who made this video has some interesting features in his UO client. Like agressive monsters/players showing purple and other gadgets. Which tool did he use?

You set the color of "someone that can be attacked" to any color you want it to. This tells you who is flagged on you, like if you attack a Grey and he goes blue then he will show up as purple, this is helpful when you use pet, if that person is purple and you attack him with your pet then you will go Grey.

Yeah, I might have missed it but I didn't see anything in those videos that wasn't normal and allowed.

I will say, however, that it did look really fun. I hate hate pvm and avoid it as much as possible. But I would probably enjoy being with a group like that. Once I learned what to do of course. heh. Too many years have gone by with me not doing much of that sort of thing so I definitely have to relearn it all.

Woah you hate pvm where have u being!! The excitement of your 100 or so health point character trying to kill a 20k-100k health point creature with skills and abilities that surpass youre own with 1-2 hit kills and have no caps on the damage they can do to u in 1 sec it's nothing like it. PvP youre enemie uses more combinations and can only do a certain amount of damage to you so thats fun in the mind vs mind part. Still both require massive strategy. Cant just wack away be it a player or a monster got to use youre smarts. The group pvm is different in that you need less strategy and pure skill to take down that opponent. But it's fun that you can share youre time with a friend.

Read the system messages on the lower left.. Neither UOAssist nor the Client as far as I know allow you to queue targets.......the last part of the series look around 5:23.

90% sure you can queue targets with UOA.

Since I made the video and am 100% sure I was not running anything illegal, I have to laugh at this. Everything you see is in part of UOAssist of client options. UOAssist can do a lot more than let you press a button to drink a potion.

No doubt. I have made some really nice and looooonnnggg macros in UOA. It helps cut down a lot of the tedium that the devs try to shove down our throats for sure. I can't imagine pvp'ing or any serious pvm'ing without it myself. I could do it, sure. But it wouldn't be something I would enjoy. Plus I am currently stuck on a laptop which makes it even more important for me.
