Hi everyone we are kicking off our new Ultima Online Social Network! For the grand opening in order to get our new site populated we are offering 1 million gold on the shard of your choice (Siege is included) to the first 25 members that register on the site, 500,000 gold for the next 15, and 250,000 gold for the 10 next members.

Qualifying registers will have to:
1. Register on UOcomplex.com
2. Must upload a profile picture (can be anything you would like)
3. Upload at least one piece of media. (photo, video, audio, or create a blog)
4. Must have a valid email, and ICQ, AIM, Skype name ECT... for us to get in touch with you.

We are using these procedures so we can slim down the chance of the same person registering multiple times. You will receive an email within 3 days of your registering if you qualify to receive gold so please use an email address you check often.

Twenty four hours, and no one has said anything... I will.

UOcomplex.com is legit and safe. Tazz has been a member and known quantity of the UO community for many years... I've known him for most of those years, and he is one of the good guys of the UO community. Tazz is one of the co-guildmasters of the Underground Knights [UGK] (one of the larger & older guilds on Baja); and is also one of the co-hosts of the Tazz & Keg's Underground program on Whispering Rose Radio.

Amazing people's reactions & lack of reactions by others when someone from our own community makes something not compete but to add to the community... to contribute to the greater good of our niche community. There of UO players who also want to give back something with good intent to the game & players they enjoy... anyone will ill intent (there have only been a few) have been found out pretty quickly and dealt with appropriately. It is not that hard to check out a site before making unfounded, uninformed, and untrue accusations.

My guild runs a Forums and our own Vent.
Some people wouldn't subscribe even for 20 million gold and they are "guild members"..

Heck, people don't even join private, protected Vent servers where ONLY guildies are allowed nowadays. When they do, they either are hitting on the few females present or never talk.. or get offended by every second word uttered.

Lastly while we got no inactives, we have people who just wanna wear a tag for the sake of that alone.

.........And people try to tell me UO's about community. Sure, if communing means trading, I gotta agree.

So don't expect many people for now at least......

*EDIT* You should hear some of the excuses for not using Vent nor the Forums.. Some people are UNBELIEVABLE.

First of all thanks Nok for the backing. There really is no point to the site. I just wanted to try and create something that was a little different than another UO forum. What we have on our site is a social networking platform that allows you to upload media such as Audio, and VIdeo that most forums do not. You also have HTML editing capabilities to embed videos or other media in our forums or Blogs. That would be our niche I guess.

We are also going to start hosting events for different shards on a regular basis if things go the way I am hoping. As Nok said prior I ran UGK a fairly large guild on Baja that focused on running events so as part of UOcomplex I wanted to do that but on a larger scale.

Oh and Gambit just to get a jab back which I try to refrain from. No need for me to "find chicks" since I have been married for the past 8 years and have been with my now wife of 8 years 16 and have two lovely daughters of 17 months and 5 years of age.

If you would like to continue debating go over and register, no holds bared on my site

Sorry if this all got a little too winded but there is really no where else to promote a UO site than other UO forums.

It looks good, though I would say I'm not a fan of all that flash on a site. If it was feasible to turn any of the flash into something more user-friendly I'm sure it'd be appreciated. Just something I noticed because I run a flash blocker when I browse and most of the screen got blanked on me *grins*

But otherwise it looks really good

I think most people's problems stem from the fact the site looks a little over-monetized. It also is currently in violation of stratics rules (its advertising a UO gold seller on the bottom of the page). It seems that over 1/3rd of the screen real estate is ads. There's a tradeoff for ads, thats content ... right now that seems to be everyone else's content hehe.

Consider all that constructive criticism, overall I like the idea of the website. I'll be keeping my eye on it. Thanks for trying to put something together for the UO community.
