I thought in the past that when the comma was added to checks it would carry over to vendors as well (since seeing a price on a vendor bugs me more than checks!). I was disappointed to see that wasn't the case. So yes, PLEASE PLEASE insert this little bit o' punctuation into the item cost display.. please?

YES YES YES!!! i, too, find the vendor prices way more annoying than i ever found bank checks. i totally assumed the bank check commas would also apply to vendor pricing.

this is yet another example of how the people that work for UO & Mythic CARE .. yes I too get frustrated with lack of GM respose often, or the lag or something...... but ya know.. I've been with UO just about 11 yrs now

AND its the times like this, when people do listen that makes me enjoy all the more.

The people spoke about something, and the QA team listened and implemented faster than I'd ever thought of.

That 1 little comma well make shopping so much easier ( especially when you come home from work & your tired but get on UO a little to relax ) .. people will be able to view prices of items very clearly now

I wanted this feature, but I kept quiet on this because I love to hunt for mispriced stuff - those that are missing a zero or two (99% discount mwuahahaha!)

this is actually a really good thing, i remember one time a guy had a berserkers maul on his vendor for 11,111,111 and they were going for around a mil at the time, so someone saw this and thought it was 1.1 mil but without the commas its not that easy to determine so they bought it and lost 10 mil

Any chance we can get the price limit on vendor item raised above 100mil now?

The price cap was set long ago when gold was difficult to accumulate, however, nowadays the vast majority of players will encounter single items worth 100mil+ or rares worth several hundreds of mils.

Would it be as quick as adding commas were to raise the cap due to inflation ?

Adding the comma to vendor pricing was a really needful thing, along with a lot of other needed things they have been trying to accomplish

Also I belive whinning is WAYYYYYYYYYY overpowered and needs to be nerfed!!

I believe Xenobia, that the Dev team etc, listens to us a lot more than they are given credit for.

Don't take this the wrong way, I am very happy with the Dev team's work, but I honestly think the do too much listening, and not enough acting.

Again, I don't want to sound like one of those ranting U-Hall regulars who cries abuse at the hands of EA constantly, just making an observation. As you can see based on this thread alone, even small (seemingly) insignificant changes can make a world of difference in regards to the overall happiness of the player base.

That said, I can't wait for this one to go live! After stocking vendors last night my eyes felt like they were ready to bleed after an hour of leaning as close as I could get to my monitor and counting zeros to make sure I had priced my items correctly.
