I Need my Char Fixed Asap Dev Team!

I heard it all now Gm so and so tells me Gm's cant help chars or fix them if they have an issue lol.I have played longer than 99% of theses guys and they tell me what they cant do.I know they can help me but wont very sad.

My issue is for 2 years now my Char cant run his stam drops to 0 in 20 steps even naked .My weight isn't high and all I ask is for a GM to fix my weight issue which they can do because I had it done once before with Ash.I can say his name becasue he is no longer a gm;P.Now i wrote to bugs many times and im not going to do it again so this is how UO is now let your players rot and give us nothing for our Cash. Why not just remove the gm's because they can never help not once in the last 5 years out of 11.


1. weight issues should be taken care of asap<- I cant play
2.Housing issues get canned <--better not drop a chest under your house because it's lost. A old gm would jump 10ft to help you with this problem.
3. im not even going to write down another im just very upset I cant get help after all the years I help players as a companion lala.

That is not entirely unusual if you have 0 focus and on foot. How much stamina do you actually have on this character?

For 2 years and you can't play him? Do you have other toons you play? If not why are you still paying for the game? Why don't you just create a new toon and build up his skills better... would take you less than two years to replace the existing toon...

14 is incredibly low, no wonder you get to 0 stam so quickly. That is 100% normal now days since I quite a while ago. It is exactly the same with new characters I make, which is why GMs are doing nothing, nothing is wrong. If you don't want to experience the stam drop build up on focus which helps regenerate stam and get more stam.

Stamina regeneration, this is the culprit. Whatever you did before has changed somehow... To fix this you have a few options. The first is to be human. If human wear stamina regen items if room allows. Third, add a bit of focus if room allows. The more you can add the better off you are.

Several of my chars are running with 14 dex or even lower
And can run from Brit to Yew, without losing enough Stam to be a problem.
I does sound like something is wrong here.

14 dex is just fine.. my mage has 10.. he can run and do pretty much anything on foot..
it never drops down to below 8 or so.. and he rides an ethy horse most of the time anyway..

if you move and lose stam you probably have something invisible in your pack..

i feel for you about the gms.. they do suck.

ive had this happen to me when i was redecorating my house. i dropped a bag of runic weps i made on the floor and it disappeared..

when you ctrl shift you can still see its handle, but couldnt pick it up so i called a gm.

first response, cant help with lost items..
i reply, its not LOST its under my house..
second response, send in a bug report to email..
i reply, ITS UNDER MY HOUSE!!!
third response.. nothing.. got taken out of the que
i make a new one, BAG UNDER MY HOUSE!!
i waited in line from around 1am to about 3am going up in que.. thats right started around 18 ended up 26..

around 3:30 am i went to bed and bag was lost forever

so, lesson learned, dont drop anything on the floor that has valuable stuff in it.

I had an issue with 16 invisible items in my pack - Not sure how long it was like that as I can't remeber how long its been since I was unable to loot my corpse and speculate the invis items autolooted for who knows how long.

Anyways, I tried calling a GM but became frustrated with the long wait and just suicided naked. Maybey worth a try for you?

I too have a char that seems to lose stm much faster than any of my others. Mounted on foot is worse its not 20 steps though after running around say brit bank once hes at half stm mounted I have 10 dex and with the suit its like 26 stmso 13 stm after like 30 seconds running is ridicules to me. I never paged about it but I just started noticing it this week.

It would be nice if Jeremy or one of our Devs felt like taking a few of the GMs and teaching them how to do these fixes, maybe making a guide just for UO, regarding the most common issues players could have that a Senior GM can at least try to repair.

The Senior GMs could train their other staff members, maybe even have a Senior and new GM do a few calls together at first.

I have no idea if any of this is possible, but I don't see why not. It would really go a long way to help the GMs become more knowledgeable about UO. I have a feeling their inability to help is more from lack of knowledge of UO's different in-game systems, rather than just blowing off help requests.

I can't remember if it showed weight, but with my pack empty, it showed 16 items. I moused over every square inch thinking I had some blackrock or difficult to see item but found nothing.

Being extremely hungry makes you lose stam a lot faster than being full.

My tamer (elf) typically has to rest 3-4 times heading from Spirituality to the blood dungeon, or during the recent events, 2-3 times heading from Honesty to Melissa's hole.

A run around Britain bank leave him exhausted too.

I simply chalked it up to having no (19 with ring) stamina and no stamina regeneration. The rest of my characters are human, have more dex and always go mounted, so I assumed that the frequent rests are normal.

Is it?

no like i said, my elf mage has 10 dex, he can run all day long and never have it drop below 8.. on a mount it doesnt move at all..

Well they guy I have the stm problem with has a slightly askew name. Maybe its intentional?

Update: My Char is an elf

Now my char is in Doom if I walk from room 1 to 2 all my Stam drops to 0
If I run well you know how that is and when im on my Mount the stam drops just as fast.

I will try to page again let's see what happens lol.

Well I got Help Nice 5 min chat and nothing hidden was in my pack and he also checked for errors.Im bugged i guess so I added 10 more dex to my char and I hope this helps.

Did you try dying? That has helped me a few times when something was out of whack or broken.

Die while you have nothing in your backpack, then don't bother looting your corpse. If there was something invisible in your backpack, it should stay there.

By the way, what is your weight (current and max)?

No offense,but if my char was screwed for 2 years and none wanted to help me.. there is things called Soulstone frags/stones.. just delete and transfer skills to new char same name etc etc and move on.

oh I have died a few times I wil remove everything off my body and try that. weight is 230 right now and max is 458 something like that.

ok I removed all my books and with my armor im 52 - max 425 and 20 dex and my stam is still dropping with item on max dex is 24. 6 steps and i drop to 13/24 on dex I can now run more but that is without my regs/runebooks/spellbook/harp/aids.Now what I just noticed since my death and not looting my body is my stam gain is even slower now lol.I going to test how far I can run from point a to point b

From luna first step by moongate running easat and following path all the way around luna and back to first step. 4 points remaining on stam so i can run much beter but stam still drops.Can someone else test this running from point a to b non-stop.

Why not just make a new char, or is it easier to just complain? Really, its not that hard to throw a new char together and not have to deal with the stam issues!

Making a New char and moving the skills is fine only if two situations do NOT apply...

1. He has spent money on power and or stat scrolls and would have to replace them to even use his soulstones on the new char or forfeit those skill points. This can be a huge expense if the char is 120ed out with a 25 stat.
2. His char is old enough to have a personal bless deed which would be trashed if he deleted the char. That is a big kick to the gut to have to take because of a game bug. I wouldn't be willing to do it and would kick and shout till a GM actually addressed the problem.

Those are the only two in game reasons I can see to keep from deleting the char and remaking it myself, but there is also the principle of wanting a bug that isn't your fault taken care of in a timely manner instead of leaving it to the paying customer to resolve on their own... Also it seems that others have had trouble with this so it isn't an isolated incident. I can add my two cents in the form that I did over 260 x-trades of spring tickets and I made NEW chars for every one, bought them a horse, and ran them all from New Haven to the prison room deep in the Angel's dungeon and I NEVER once had to stop to rest due to no stamina.

The only thing I see in that list that would stop someone from deleting the char would be the personal bless deed. I still myself have had issue with several chars even with personal bless deeds and I deleted them np.. thats just me tho. Tamed animals rebond, no issue there. Owned by no one items if are infact owned by no one then they can move right along to the next char, not bound to any char atm.... depending on which shard, scrolls are almost dirt cheap. Anyways, it's your char, your account.. I just don't see what you are going to accomplish coming here to complain!

Agree with Uriah here, I have many toons (tamers & mages) at 10-17 Dex, only 1 toon has Stamina Regen (None have Focus) & I can run for a long long time. His char is I would say has issues & a GM should be able to help him other then blowing him off with the Old Orange Dot/Canned Msg.
