How can my non civ., non mage fighter get compassion now?
I never seem to get the reg. escorts to the towns on time.

She is 120 x 6 with no room for any points changes. I'm not sure rings could get you high enough.
I Play 90 % of the time alone so having some one gate is not a real option. I do however like to keep it up for when helping out at events.
Is there any other way to get Compassion points?
And what even possessed the dev team to take them away form Haven in the first place?

Umm its simpler then that. Go to bravehorn take him to the water kill him. REPEAT. No waiting.
I've never used Haven escorts for my warrior. It is possible to get it without that.
I start from Skara and look for escorts who want to go to Jhelom, Moonglow, Vesper or Minoc. All those are easily walkable from the public moongates.

Well now, how compassionate.
Trouble with Lissbet is it takes forever!! But the Bravehorn isn't too bad to do. At least you can recall back after you get him to the water.

Lissbet is a shorter walk than Bravehorn, one way (I can see the bit about the round trip though), but at least it gives a reward (usually junk, but some of it will smelt....)
Also, look at the brigands by the sacrifice gate - you can rescue prisoners there sometimes, and deliver them via the Sacrifice moongate, if they go to a town with a nearby gate.
One method I do, with no recalling needed, is start at Spirituality gate, walk over to Lissbet. Escort Lissbet to her creepy old "grandpa" (ever notice that he lives alone, with only a single sheep for company??? Ewwww). Walk from there to the sacrifice brigands - if a prisoner there that goes to Skara, Jhelom, Yew, Moonglow, Minoc, Vesper, Britain or Trinsic, rescue them, and escort to safety via the sacrifice gate. Walk back to the gate, go to spirituality, repeat the loop until I get 5 escorts done. the only slow parts are when you have someone following you.

Depending on what level you are at on compassion when you rez someone they get a certain amount of there hit points back. Which is why its a great thing

What's really amazing is what happens with a group where one person has Knight of compassion & enough Chivalry to cast noble Sacrifice. Every person rezzed ends up at 80% of max HP at knight, and I used it at some of the older events (and occasionally in Peerless) to rez at least 6 people at once (and once there had to be over 10 dead I rezzed that way). Time it right with a bandage on yourself that is already underway (or have others healing you), and there's little danger from your own HP drop to near nothing.
Doenst the Hag's Quest giving compassion, too? Not to mention that you can get 850+ spring clean up points for each time you do the quest (cauldron, cure, brew and a treasure map).
Contrary to what you are reading here, the answer is: With difficulty. There are a lot of bugs with the escort system, that have been persistent for years. (Do not bother doing escort missions from Ilshenar that require you to leave Ilshenar. Do not do an escort that requires you to pass through the server line between the Minoc Moongate and the Minoc town proper. Only about every other quest that requires you to pass through any server line overland will work.)
However, having said that? It's still doable, it'll just take longer. I had Knight of Compassion before New Haven came around, and I maintained it before I realized that the New Haven escorts gave out Compassion.
Bravehorn is good. Others here have recommended that you kill it upon successful completion....I wouldn't recommend that. It kills the point of having a Virtue called Compassion, and yes that means something to me.....If getting Compassion from New Haven escorts is bad enough that it has to be changed, this practice is certainly 100% worse.
Libset the Flower Girl, also mentioned by others who've posted in this thread, is also a good, easy escort mission.
The Cities of Jhelom and Skara Brae are good to do escorts from. Lots of NPCs, and right by a Moongate.
They are clearly intent on making this completely unnecessary change, for whatever reason.
The time for complaining has passed, and the time for adaptation has begun.

There hasn't been a problem with taking escorts out of Ilshenar since before ML was released.
Still waiting for someone to come to Lake Austin and prove me wrong....

Good infromation, thank you all 
an old guildmate of mine had knight of compasion,and I had died
doing a rikktor spawn(got too close to his eq's hehe) and as soon as I got rez a stupid stealth archer hit me with an AI,trying to get a cheap rez kill,but he didn't kill me due to my guidmates knighthood in compasion.I was able to re-arm and kill the archer in revenge.I wish I could see the face of that archer that night when he couldn't rez kill me,I bet he was like wtf? he has got to be hacking.type commments.
